I AM a shareholder. Thinking of selling. I really do not like businesses that promise stuff, and do not deliver on the promises. In my case I was persuaded to Jonty up to DDF level by the explicit promise of 'near God-like powers'. Here we are nearly a year after release, and not only is there no sign of them, but FD have stopped even talking about them.
 
Interdictions are still terrible.

The full range of problems is still there, if not worse than ever:

- impossible maneuvers that can't be compensated by the limited yaw capabilites of the ship
- sudden erratic jumps of the evasion vector of 80° angles or more
- an almost full evasion bar that suddenly jumps to being interdicted instead of successfully escaping, as I should have
- an almost full interdiction bar that suddenly jumps to me being able to evade instead of being successfully interdicted, as I should have
- illogical reduction of the evasion bar, even if I'm aligned dead center with the evasion reticule, making it completely impossible to evade.

In its current form the interdiction minigame is completely useless. You might just as well do a 50/50 coin toss on any interdiction attempt and just go with the result instantly, which would save a lot of time and frustration about this buggy game element.
Sorry to hear this. I guess I'll not bother coming back just yet then.

Its the same for me, i've been perfectly able to evade interdictions after 1.40. Now with 1.401 even easier. I can evade interdictions now 10 out of 10 times.

With interdicting however i was able to win about 3 out of 10 interdictions after 1.40. I just tried interdicting again and lost 10 out of 10 interdictions since 1.401. The balance is way off now.
 
In regards to the 10cr repairs thing, I don't know if this was pointed out before but as far as I can tell it's because it's not repairing the paint job unless you manually go into repairs to do so. This was something I think quite a few people asked for but no one seemed to realize it would always show the 10cr thing.
 
There's a lot of armchair developers out tonight! Nobody ever gets to fix all the bugs before working on new features. Take some good organic onionhead and relax. Trading is not broken, just the stats reporting of it is. If the stats are not being updated server side, FD can always update them from their trade transaction logs.
 
I can evade interdictions now 10 out of 10 times.

So it's not the same for you as for me. For me interdictions (as in NPCs trying do interdict me) are totally erratic with no rhyme or reason to them. Sometimes I can evade and don't know why, and sometimes I'm being interdicted and don't know why. It's totally random with skill not factoring into it.

Not to be contrary but the DDF level does not say "explicit promise of 'near God-like powers'" :)


Be a design decision forum member, plus all rewards above.

Some of us like to hold the thrust up control while waiting for launch clearance so that we start moving immediately upon disengage from dock. Nowadays, if you do this, nothing will happen unless you let go of the control and press it again after dock disengage. Its a minor thing, but a lot of people, myself included, have gotten used to being able to do this. When the change happened I'm sure we were just staring at the screen as nothing moved (when it would have before)..."Am I pressing the button hard enough!?!?!"
Don't understand this. I've seen this reported as a bug and assumed it was for keyboard users, but this is how I always take off: holding the up thruster button on my stick until release and it works every time. In previous versions I used to hold the up thruster and the landing gear button and they both operated on release, but now the landing gear has to be pressed after release.
 
Closed the game 20 minutes ago (after installing the latest patch that released today) and a little dialog appeared to send my hardware config to frontier or something like that. Maybe something went wrong in the game but it did shut off with no visible problems.
Since the interdictions are from now less punishing, i am returning to the bubble tonight after about a month (been to sag a*) and i am hitting a station. I hope i will survive the interdictions. Been waiting too long for the interdictions to be fixed for my return. I hope the "improvements" are in place.
