no, it is a known bug from 1.4, thrusters don't work if you press them up before you are released, now you have to press up after your released, and i have a t-flight x, and is the same for me.

I can confirm this behavior on Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.
 
I don't understand why every update breaks something new. E.g. the 10CR Repair All - why did this appear? The 'waiting in queue' stuttering on the docking computer - why did this appear? The thrusters not working following docking pad release - why did this happen? None of these areas was related to anything that was fixed in previous updates - so exactly why did they go wrong?
 
At least the cr10 Paint job bug doesn't charge you for pressing the button - which means the mechanic is TOTALLY BROKEN, just another thread pulled out of the comfort blanket, if you believe some people who claim to represent ALL the Players, insist....
In Oz that sort of person used to be called a POM - lord knows what they are called now - probably wouldn't get past the censors ..

Is interdiction working properly now?....i.e. me interdicting another craft.

I do not know about interdicting other players, but in case of NPCs it still broken.

There are still cases of instant win/loss regardless of player’s actions. I had few successful interdictions while being obviously out of target. And lost a lot more while being perfectly aligned with target.

Just a few hours ago I had NPC interdiction attempt on me. I immediately set my throttle to zero (after 1.4 I never try to escape) and escape vector was 90 degrees from my direction. Still I “won” evasion mini-game before I was able to submit.
 
How the hell did patch 1.4 make it pass the QC department?

Between the supercruise fps bugs and interdiction this game has become an unplayable mess for a lot of us. How the hell did this patch make it pass the quality control department? Does FDEV honestly test these things before they release them in the wild? I'm a software engineer and there is no chance this patch would have seen day light in the shape that its in. Why have there not been more patches to address the ridicules issues that make this great game look like and feel like crap now?
 
My suggestion for the SC fps bug would be to collaborate with AMD and nVidia to find a solution asap.

Interdiction should be skill based and i would implement something like a quick time event to hit/steer the right button/axis in the right moment. The guy with the better skill or reaction wins.
 
What about the broken AI? Some ships are just dancing and not even pulling their hardpoints out :(

They are onionhead users.
Cargo scan them and apply limpets.

I think they were trying to separate the paint damage repair from the rest of the repair menu and it borked something. I' sure FD will fix it eventually.
Hardly totally broken and it doesn't affect my gameplay in the slightest. It is a bit funny to see folks freaking out over tiny flaws however.

Doesn't break immersion for me either but it's annoying. IIRC, this was perfect after the last 1.3 patch. I could repair ship integrity and leave the paint alone. Why bothering to break it?

For me, since there are so many things we can't do to our ships (naming them comes to mind), the paint wearing off was an indication of how far I've been traveling with that specific ship. I really loved the look at it after I did a few trips to Hutton Orbital. It was at 0 percent and did show how used it was.

Now, it's always looking brand new... :/

I am going to try this:
I won't do the Fix Integrity option. My list of repairs needed all show 100% except for the paint.
Perhaps if I don't fix the integrity, I can get the worn, experienced look I want.

Yeah, I've been dragging my feet as well so that I don't repair all. Problem is, I'm not too sure what adverse problems having a ship with hull integrity at 0% can do...

I have seen tread about hull integrity and its effects somewhere on this forum. It based on 1.3 version of the game and some mechanics may be changed.

Looks like integrity cannot drop below certain amount (25-30%, I cannot remember exact number). So you do not need to worry about it reaching zero.
On the other hand, it affects effectiveness of ship’s armor. So with 30% integrity your military composite will provide much less protection (probably to the level of lightweight alloy).

Exactly this. Having invested in new rig, the most powerful graphics card I could find, and HOTAS with chair mounts, buttkicker and subpac and DK2 and headset and Life Time Expansion and not being able to enjoy space is disheartening at best. Just when planetary stutter was fixed, this pops up.

Same here, I dont care about the minor fixes if the game is unplayable since 1.4 due to the super cruise stuttering so bad that you have complete double vision in inhabited systems.

I've never tried my thrusters (keyboard Q-W-E & A-S-D) until I hear the "kerCHUNK" of the docking clips releasing.
