yea its not updating for me either on xbox

same on PC.

As I understand it:

1) servers are pulled offline (or Ed falls over the plug...)
2) servers are updated. This may take anything up to (hopefully not more than) 10 hours.
3) at some unspecified time during these 10 hours, might be sooner, might be later, the download is enabled for the clients

we are currently between 2) and 3). As to when 3) will happen - well, the guys and gals at FD are fighting against the most fundamental law of this universe, so just let them get on with it.

Yes, all Live Servers need to be taken down for this update. The Xbox client update will be available for download from 11:00am UTC (10:00am BST) and is expected to be around 8.5GB. You'll need to wait until the Servers are back online before you'll be able to connect.

I think you might have your UTC/BST back to front?

This just in: Engineers "on hold" but not canceled. Will be rolled into 3.0 which will also bring rapture and eternal salvation. Also, no more dates because you guys were impatient.

I totally agree with that! It is pure horror to install Upgrade 1kb/sec when servers are up again. Xbox users can download the whole package during the offline. Why not PC/Mac users too?
