News 2.3 Dev Update

We "immersion" people should have a voice also. I'd personally love it if there was an "immersion" slider for gameplay ... slide one way for teleportation and other 'game-like' features and slide the other way for more 'simulation-like' features. I don't think my desire for an immersive experience should trump your desire to just play the game. Unfortunately there isn't so the devs have to choose one over the other.

But you can save your immersion by simply arranging to meet up with the people to want to multi-crew with...
 
Wow, really fast running and long thread.

Was somewhere explained, what does it mean this "more pips for more players" ? Does it means that multi-crew ship will have multiple pip controls or more total pip points ?

From what I read, I take it as the Pilot can allocate PIPs as needed. The multi-crew player can then take that allocation and mirco-mange it as needed.
 
The nail in the coffin for this update = would you rather choose to be a Wing or be a Co-Pilot that sits around waiting for something to do?

Would a Bounty be any higher based on number of criminals to kill in a Multi-Crewe Ship?

Please make scanners utility mounts and let the gunner move them around like a turret so we can have non combat roles for multicrew.
 
Most of this sounds rather good, but as always I have one question: How will this affect PvE players who do not have others to play with? Will NPCs be given similar built-in force multipliers and bonuses as if they had additional crewmembers? If so, how will this amount to anything but a nerf to players who do not have ingame friends? Worse, will it result in a meta of sorts where you have to wing up or multicrew with strangers in order to keep doing what you always had (eg Bounty Hunting)? I am especially concerned by the "additional pips" and "more fighters" mechanics that - while very appealing to have in one's arsenal - would massively increase both DPS and TTK for NPCs.

Avatar creation. Albeit I don't know if or how you'd ever see it.
My guess is :
-You will see it when you look around in multi-crew
-Maybe we will have player profiles
-We will see it a lot when our CMDRs finish re-education and remeber how to walk
