• Fixed a small dot that appeared next to the throttle pin on several ships

And yet (sorry, I wasn't going to do this) ... SRV fuel still stuck at 45%? sound for decrementing commodity quantities still missing? iCourier bobbleheads still viewed from the back in outfitting? SRV/supercruise-ship still auto accelerating in camera suite? Galaxy still beige? Wing beacon mechanics still broken? And they have time to fix a "small dot"? Priorities people, Priorities!

STILL no materials limit increase? FDev, you simply cannot introduce new materials and (with this patch) likely new RNGeering blueprints requiring those materials, yet restrict us to the paltry limit we have at the moment.

Please, I urge you to reconsider.

Manual Launcher update instructions for Steam users.

1) Close Launcher
2) Go to the game folder (C:\Program Files x86\Steam\steamapps\Elite Dangerous\)
3) Run EDlaunch.exe and it will update automatically.

It will open a web browser. Save the file and open it. It will have a location that includes the steam path, plus an extra folder, "EDLaunch". Go back one level, then install.

Exemption for valid Powerplay PvP
Pilot’s Federation Bounty – When a player commits the crime of murder (PvP only), they receive an additional Pilot's Federation Bounty. This bounty is valid in every jurisdiction except anarchies
Exemption for valid Powerplay PvP

Hopefully this will end the griefers.

As a note, PvP in open does not automatically equal griefing. PvP in open has always been part of Elite Dangerous from the beginning, and is expected/accepted gameplay.

Having said that, it will definitely put a damper on a good number of the casual noob-killers over time as it starts hitting them in the wallet. There'll always be some of the more determined types who will keep at it, but the ones who were only doing it because there was zero consequences will rethink things after a few of the higher rebuy penalties.

Sorry, but that is not entirely true.

The updater will offer a non-existent path "C:\Program Files(x86)\Frontier\EDLaunch", not your steam path.
You have to change it to yout actual Elite Dangerous installation path, which will look something like "C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Elite Dangerous" (provided that you had Steam install ED into the default location).

• Flipped some text on the cockpit fire extinguisher
• The Dolphin now casts a shadow correctly when in the hanger
• Fixed a texture error that occured when the Dolphin's shields were hit when viewed from another ship

Speaking as someone who's currently on the last leg of a near circumnavigation and about to hit the neutron clusters to get to Colonia from the western rim, I'm quite, quite mad. Still, it'll give me a chance to test that 20,000 LY plotter.

Also, please please please can there be planets that aren't brown? Yes I know, ice worlds can sometimes be blue or green or pink, but...

I feel sorry for you, if you don't like it go play the released version of Star Citizen.
Personally I am looking forward to this update and the many updates to come in the future.

The optimist and explorer in me read, "Corrected the colour of the high Metals worlds...." but alas.
