Horizons 29,000LY to go and only 5% hull left!

Until I worked out the mechanics of landing (Spot and ship fully green on the radar) I was losing 1 or 2% per landing with the most lost in one go at 5%. About 3kLY out from the Bubble (after getting to A*) and heading back with the hull at 55% (after brushing a star or two.

Oddly though, I've started to have weird system issues in the last 5kLy. I was scooping a star with the temp at about 70% when it ditched me out of SC with an error/warning "Heat sink failure - Ejecting sink".

I have a heat sink launcher, but no ammo in it for the last 45k Ly.....

I'm sure the ship was playing up temperature wise for the next 3 jumps or so (as I got cooked by another star when just entering scoop range), though that might just be a coincidence...

2.5KlY later, seems ok....

Plus, my vessel (the good ship "Thief of Bad Gags") is in far better state (Bar the odd system twitch it seems) so I'm dreading less the return leg. Will find the first station I can, repair, re-arm, swap out some systems and then head to my Cobra mk III :).

Nice to know you got back safely (all of you) :).
