I know that was a problem in the last BETA - people unknowingly loaded up the wrong game.

On the launcher, scroll up and down the available options; the Horizons BETA was, IIRC, hidden near the bottom.
They said to make a save/copy of the bindings, but even put back an old save once on the beta the bindings are reset, it would be nice to have a bindings folder dedicated to the beta.

Old Profile Data????
So I have the Beta downloaded and logged in to my cmdr and it appears as though the profile data is pretty old. How long ago did you take the data snapshot, FDEV? I loaded in in a sidewinder with only 13M credits (I have 271M after anaconda purchase and light outfit in 2.4 now) and my rank progression looks like it did a month ago. I assumed the data would be a bit more recent since you took your servers offline last night (this morning?).
Anyone else seeing this? I've yet be involved in any betas for fdev, not sure what the SOP on profile migration is.

Update: Restarted launcher, horizons option is offered. I swear to the gods of fatigue and human error, I had only one option the first time...
Mine is about 2 weeks old - which it has been (ca.) in every beta so far.

Wow, now that I think of it, you're probably right on the two week bit. I suppose I could check my logs. I was rocking a solo Python about that long ago. Man have I been grinding. Almost all engineers in 2.4 unlocked, now have an Anaconda and an AspX... thought it had taken more time than that, but I've been putting in a lot of hours.
Well I don't do Twitter so I wouldn't have got that message.
I have backups of ALL my files, but they're identical. If you look at the modified date on the binds files they haven't been touched.
It's still broken my live game as well though.
Oh well, at least I saved them in a spreadsheet, so here we go...
I think there's a big bug, come help us to make us hear this problem on the bug topic.
