30 essential animals meta-wishlist

Something interesting I'm noting, and I don't want anyone to take this the wrong way by any means. There's so many postings about wanting more animals from Australia and Oceania, myself included (wombat being my second most wanted animal). But as a whole the priorities don't reflect that. The highest ranked animal from that area is the Tasmanian Devil at #14, and the second/third are tied at #23, being the Wombat and Emu. To get to the next one you have to go out of the top 40. Honestly if I read the numbers as a developer, I could see why they would not give a return to this area a priority.

The case of Tasmanian devil is very interesting to me and I already commented it here before.

I don’t have nothing against them but it was kind of interesting to watch an animal staying for a very long time in a low numbers around 40 and then reach first 15 in less than a month.

I totally understand where you're coming from with the picks. The Tasmanian devil did not make my top 30 either but wasn't too far from it (I'm OCD with lists so I have rankings all the way through 50 and then another for birds ha!) I think I'd want a Grey Kangaroo almost as much as a TD, which I know would get some backlash if done. I think the Platypus and Wombat are the only ones I really, really want. I include the Emu as they are probably the 3rd most iconic Australian animal, I know subjective but I'd say overall they're right up with the Red Kangaroo and Koala.

Its theme pack so why for some reason expected expansion. Its 100% confirmed since animals are found in game files. Also stop forcing ,,only 5 animals,,. People there need also building pieces.

At least the crane would use the flamingo rig as base too. And needless to say those 3 animals wouldn't fly in PZ either (at least for now). The penguin at least dives.

The african penguin is wide spread in european zoos and those with a budget that can not afford building an indoor exhibit (like king penguins would need, realistically). Personally, if a penguin was a bad pick, it was the king penguin for the aquatic pack in my opinion. Or leaving other penguins out of the aquatic pack. I agree that a smaller penguin from another climate was very much wished for by large parts of the community.
