6 Interdictions in Solo mode in a single supercruise run seems a little excessive .

Well I have beaten two now with throttle at 25% I suppose I need to macro to get 5%
I have a macro using a CP-48 from Genovation.
I also have a Voice Attack macro.

In normal space for maneuvering in very tight spaces I even have VA macros to change speed in small increments by changing the engine PIPS

Happens to me sometimes, even if I have a single mission. It is quite annoying, and you know it's the same guy over and over again because of his or her name.

The best way to deal with that unfortunately is to eliminate the threat with force. If your ship isnt geared for combat, you going to have a long annoying slog to the station.

Just beat the interdiction, you can do that in any ship Vs AI.

True but if you still have a significant distance to travel in SC they will come back (NPC magic remember) and interdict you again. Actually it doesn't have to be that greater distance. My home station is 97ls from the primary, and if the NPC tries to interdict me as soon as I enter the system and I beat the mini-game, they can (and have) interdicted me at least twice more before I have made it to the station. Sure the last one is when I am seconds away from dropping out of SC but it does happen. They can be persistent little blighters when they want to be.

No macros as yet but I have now added a keybinding for down 10% throttle and using that against my last interdiction the T9 won much more easily in fact with the sorts of ease and timescale I associate with my more agile ships at 50%.

Thanks to all for the tips.

Ok. Found that and it isn't actually about how to beat the interdiction mini-game. That is about what could be considered an exploit where you dive into a planetary gravity well and force you ship to save itself which causes the interdicting ship to also do a gravity well forced drop too far from you to be able to attack you. BUT, you still take damage and you still have the extended FSD cooldown time.

This is the only issue I have with the mission pirates. You kill one, and magically the next one shows up right behind you then you jump back into SC. The most annoying encounter was then I was running escort for a cargo T-10. The same pirate, ship and name, would just magically appear right behind the T-10 all the time. We killed him every time and once back in SC he just came back to life. He even followed us into another system, must have killed him 10 times at least.

Isn't there a reliable way to get NPCs hurl themselves into a planet? I've done it a few times when nearing a station but it's time consuming, only a little less time than actually beating the interdiction.

Is there really a need for NPC to interdict 6 times in a single supercruise run?

meh, the best is to make sure your combat rank is where you only get deadly and elite pirates after you, stack as many black box missions as possible, have a galaxy wide murder bounty and be hostile towards a super power while operating in their space. carry a wanted passenger for extra fun and make sure you do all of this in open in a heavy trafficked system.

now that's some han solo fun right there!

Yes. You have to dog fight them in SC at very low speed putting the planet behind you as often as possible. Takes a LOT more time than simply beating the interdiction a 5% throttle. Besides, if you run them into a planet or a star they will immediately magically appear at any location you drop out into normal space in in the same system. Death is fleeting for them.

As others have said, if you play the interdiction mini-game and manage to escape, the NPC will not attack again; however, if you submit and then run they will interdict you again and again and again.... until you reach the station. I am Harmless in Combat, never have any guns and manage to escape NPC interdictions 99% of the time - only losing sometimes if I'm in a T9 which is a bit more difficult to manoeuvre. Missions of course have their own special NPCs that come after you, but usually only once each per system..... obviously if you have 6 missions, they will all attack one after the other. I usually reject any missions where 'enemies may be sent after you' especially as they are often ranked a lot higher then I would get otherwise. :)

I wish some silly NPCs would interdict me when I'm flying my Cutter. LOL. I mean, you're in the Cutter. Even if you don't have any weapons, you just run his sorry stern over, have some fun.😁

Oh, that's what I like to call bonus pay when it happens to me. I tend to submit, then KWS scan them, kill them, check the wreckage for goodies, enter SC, submit to the next one, etc.

And then cash in the bounties at my destination (or the next ISF I stumble upon, I'm not picky.)

I wish I'd be intedicted 6 times more often... I like credits.

I always submit and boost because I don't have to take my eyes off the TV. Also, there's nothing worse than when your X52 lead comes out while you're fighting the interdiction.
