So I have a UI problem. I Flew out from OEVASY SG-Y DO B 9 F. Straight shot with SOL in the rear view mirror. I'm running down to the wire for the return jump now. My target on SOL shows 65,650 onscreen but when I look at the Galmap it has remained at 65,47.34 and will not update no matter what I do.
On top of that, the new UI doesn't even show SOL in the target list panel at all. I'd like credit for the extra LYs and effort to get out this far but my screens don't match.
Any ideas why? TYIA
Correct - the GalMap ALWAYS shows the "entry star to entry star" distance - never the extra distance gained in SC...
In the GalMap - search for 'Sol' - when it becomes centered - then 'Select' it (yellow diamond above it) - then return to HUD and you should then see the distances to the 'local' system > 1 LY - so you can add the "local distance" (seen in Left pane / target panel) to the "OEVASY SG-Y DO to Sol Distance" [unchanging 65,647.34 LY] to get your "net distance":
Here's mine (still need to submit I just realized!):

PS - even though I didn't run my fuel down - I did plot the nearest start (@ 50 LY IIRC) - and saw how much fuel was needed to make the jump...Then make sure when your hourly consumption nibbles at your fuel total - that you don't go too low....
Worst case - I think you can also "cut it really close" if you do a FSD injection synthesis: then the amount of fuel used to make the jump is reduced - so you can really stretch it (I didn't have the patience - just did @ 1 LY extra)
