I've been playing the alpha for about 2 weeks now... I still learn new things each time I play which the Coaster Tool is super easy to use, but the pathways still annoy me. It would have been great to have different pathway tool options, considering when I build stations, stores, etc. my objects always end up colliding into the pathways.
It would have been nice if we wanted to place a straight pathway we could choose "place straight path". If we wanted it to curse then we could select the "curve" option. And those who don't mind the path tool as is... there was a "free-form" option. I like curved queues, but when I'm building coaster stations and walk-through facades my decor and building objects just don't work for me.
Also if Frontier Development isn't planning to incorporate floor tiles into the game... it would be nice if we could incorporate the queues of our rides as part of the buildings we create. So when the ground grid pops up we could place the queue to cover the entire square of the grid so ground floor would not appear. And then once our queue inside a station/facade building is completed we could still continue the queues that are not part of the building---if that makes sense?
Also, if would be great to have pin-point connectors on our pathways. So when we're placing street lights and planters, (benches, trashcans, fences in the future) they would automatically connect to the pathway, rather than us having to place it the best we can. (And here recently I never noticed by at times my objects are free floating above the pathways so I have to go back and lower them onto the pathway.)
