It has been a great year for the Commanders in ED and its additions of Horizons and cqc, we have Fdev to thank for another great year. There will always be a percentage of us as a community and family that will disagree with this statement, thats alright and I will get to that in a minute.
From many of us in your community and in the universe you put us in and created for us, to make our own stories, to let us be explorers, combat pilots, merchants to trade in far away places and seeing new worlds. Happy New Year...thanks for all you do and continue to do.
For those that disagree...Happy New Year to you to...may you find what you enjoy in the next year....
We have a vibrant community...we have a game many of us enjoy playing....that is not to say there isn't times we critique...some of us possibly more so, some of this may come from a desire to see something we have come to love continue to thrive in a positive direction. Ok, ok definately some that will critique just to see what they have to say in print....and hope that somehow they will get others to think the way they do, maybe its just hard to please em, or to easy...who knows....
We come from all over, we find those things that make us imagine again...to be a Buck Rodgers, Han Solo, Mal, or any number of fictional characters that set or imaginations on fire.
ED may not be perfect, FDev is constantly in supprt of thier work...it has been a long time since seeing this kind of support.
As we come to the New Year...no matter what side of the fence you may sit on in a particular thread...a particular point of view on game play, progress, or any facet of the game...whether you will continue to play ED or move on to other things...Be safe have a Happy New Year....may the coming year bring more joy, happiness and success to you in 2016.
For all the rest of us who are enjoying the ride and developement...with the ups and downs....SEE ALL OF YA'LL IN THE BLACK IN THE COMING YEAR...YEEHAWW!!! WE GOT ANOTHER YEAR LETS HAVE FUN AND FIND MORE THINGS TO DO!!!!...lets create another faction, lets find ways to rebuild a lost city, lets find a deep space message, lets push back piracy in a given sector of space....its out there...somewhere...let get to it!!!
Fly safe and profitable and when you can't fly safe....damn sure fly profitable!!
