It's basically a bit of a test run before Beta lands at the end of the month. I'm using iMovie for the video, and an image editor called Acorn for titles and other static assets. Any feedback would be much appreciated!

I've been chatting with ZeeWolf and am considering doing some voice tracks for subsequent ones, although I lack a decent microphone.

Anyway I'm glad to be joining in, I'm finding this a really fun creative outlet.

P.S. I forgot to mention there's a little homage to my favourite Twitch streamer in the video too :D

Good video mate, nice to have some fresh faces posting them. Get a HOTAS and you won't look back!

You know, what's funny is that my video is probably about 50% creative/enthusiastic fan output, and 50% a product of feeling the need to justify the X55 I've just ordered! :)

Hey there all. Part of the reason I have just registered to the forum was to post that I've got Elite 4 footage with commentary going on at my channel on YouTube. It is Alpha footage.

Incidently if you want a budget microphone without turning your computer desk into a recording studio I have a samson Go Mic can't recommend it enough. It has three modes, one of which can pick up conversations in the next room.

It's witchcraft, a tiny microphone that looks like it came out of the 1950's and picks up everything beautifully, you can snap it on to a laptop screen too. I actually bought it for a company I was working with doing live streaming and I loved it so much I pinched it (actually I bought it and didn't claim expenses so it was mine really).

It's the one I used for this vid

Thanks, I've also heard good things about the Samson Meteor, and I think it's the one they use on the official Star Citizen videos. It looks like its a bit more, though, so the Go might be good for a starter budget.

My X55 arrived today too, so no more crashing into Anacondas for me! :)

Oh and Trevelyan I've subbed to you on Youtube, and I'm looking forward to all our content come the Alpha4/Beta phases.

Thanks Zee, Wilder. Had a bit of an issue with my computer over the last few days but I am back online and have a few new ones coming up. All my current version content will be cycled out around the same time Alpha 4 is ready, which is nice.
