Diplomatically ignoring?I think that's the diplomacy and commerce contract mission mentioned in the Odyssey steam page.

I've tried to ask them if they had any, but no takers. It does turn up the levels of salt hazzing something fierce, though.Any good selling opportunities for that stuphs somewhere?
Dump them in the forums, everyone else does that too.I've tried to ask them if they had any, but no takers. It does turn up the levels of salt hazzing something fierce, though.
Good idea, because it sure hasn't gotten me any stuphz in syschat so far.Dump them in the forums, everyone else does that too.
Nobody gives a if you play in solo.
Its a nuanced issue,an exploration build is made of paper, shields are for the odd faux pas not for combat. And a ganker is engineered for dealing death.Imagine all the people not underclassing their shield generators
You may say I'm a dreamer...
I went exploring in a krait that was perfectly capable of surviving a gank. Its a nuanced issue,an exploration build is made of paper, shields are for the odd faux pas not for combat. And a ganker is engineered for dealing death.
Literally never said that.Well, Nobody gives a if you play in open either - and we need to stop venerating it as "The onlyest way to play Elite"
Nobody gives a if you play in solo.
Oh, I'm happy to have a philosophical discussion about PvP game mechanics and the modes that they are played in.The regularity of threads suggesting that Powerplay, BGS, or both should be open only seem to contradict this. Some people care intensely.
(This may derail into YAOOPPT, but that's a risk I'm willing to take).
When I play in solo, its because I don't want to interact with other people at all - I don't care if they are friendly or want to shoot me, I simply don't want to know they are there!
Literally never said that.
Cite where I said it.
I'm playing in Solo right now, as a matter of fact.
I see, should we be erased because we play the game differently, in the only mode out of three that has random encounters possible. can we introduce this same system to anyone who combat logs, after all, it's a exploit. It's a simple idea that could easily be implemented with the existing mechanics, as they appear to work. Since most of the people who play in solo do so to avoid pirates and gankers, the only way to lure people out of solo is to drastically reduce the risk of encountering those types. And I think you could do that by instituting a "death penalty" for anyone who attacks an unarmed ship. Basically, attack an unarmed ship and your commander is erased as if you had hit the menu option yourself. All your ships, all your money, all your ranks-- gone. Enjoy your new Sidewinder!
Welp, guess you thought wrong.Thought it was implied from this;
"Gankers have scared me and driven me out of Open play. Now, I sulk in Solo and post messages in system chat, just knowing that they are monitoring system chat and shaking their fist at me and my clever solution to the problem. That'll show 'em, stupid gankers."
imagine unimaginableImagine no MMOs.
Welp, guess you thought wrong.
I like dogs.Meh, you just weren't clear enough. Try being clearer![]()
