A problem with shelter I created?

Hey guys I was wondering if you guys could help me with a problem In game. I built a animal shelter to house bigger animals and I copied it all together then when I went to move it the building was way to the right of the cursor. So to place it I had to almost angle it as well as I could to get it how I wanted. Also when I try copying as a blueprint it crashes the game for some reason (I reported btw). But did I click something wrong while building it that would cause this. Also when I rotate said building it’s on a very wide turn instead of the tight complete turn it usually does.

You must have a building piece that's part of the building, but on the other side of the map.

Having a building piece included in the group that's far across the map sounds likely, and if that's the case you should be able to fix it by selecting in to edit the group, dragging a box over all the pieces that are your shelter (to select them) and clicking to remove it from the group in the top right menu box. This will separate it from any other pieces it's accidentally attached to, and hopefully it'll start to behave as you expect after that!

That’s got to be it actually. Haven’t had a chance to look for it yet but that’s happened before usually I catch it but makes perfect sense. Thanks for the help guys.

Yup that was definitely it. Another thing I found on steam if you try to save a blueprint and it crashes your game just lower your graphics down a little and it works no problem. Some may know this already but it’s news to me.
