A Simple Solution to Combat Logging

You'd totally like joke pirating then.

That's when one or more CMDR's interdict you demanding "tell me a joke or die". They might even explain that any language will do. You tell your favorite joke and then they let you go on your merry way.

Some of the interidicted CMDR's will try and clog out of these kind of situations as well...
Yeah, I heard about those guys, but never encountered them. I know jokes that go on for ages.

Well, one would hope you would be fully familiar with the EULA before informing your opinion on it:

The parameters or reality are not as you have declared. What is considered "cheating" is relevant to the EULA.

I am very familiar with that section of the EULA and have discussed it with Frontier as well for clarity. It refers to software modification/hacking etc. Nothing to do with how and when you exit the game, which is not something they can impose, legally. I also thought what 3c refers to is pretty obvious tbh. Not sure why you would think combat logging is covered by it.

What you said doesn't really refute anything. You're been basing everything on indirectly referencing things that you say prove you right.

I mean, I just picked the first example, because me pointing to one thing would still be more than what you've produced in support of your self-described "informed opinion".

Let's do another, shall we?
4.4 You may not use the Game or any Online Features in a manner that could damage, disable, impair, overburden or compromise our systems or security or interfere with the experience of other users of the Game or any Online Feature.

Or hey, how about right here?
7.3.3 ii) agree to be bound by the Community Codes of Conduct for the Game, the latest version of which may be viewed here.

While these do pretty well explicitly contradict what you claim the EULA states, I should remind you that I'm just framing this conversation within the parameters of reality.

Even more the german language...so many words for the same "thing" some more direct than others and if we don't have any words for a "thing" we're just inventing new ones. 😁
Or adding suffixes to existing ones, creating some of the longest known words in existence.

Donaudampfschifffahrtselektrizitätenhauptbetriebswerkbauunterbeamtengesellschaft anyone?

And the "reality" here is...

Frontier will do absolutely nothing to disturb the flow of profits- which includes no less than any "playstyle", nor preference. They accept all monetary value albeit PvP or PvE, and no less than. These conversations, however entertaining amount to exactly the same result as they always have.

Choose your own poison... Solo, Private Groups or Open.

Doesn't this explicitly make Ganking bannable as it is against the EULA? (Assuming legitimate PvP is by consent)

Just mentioning it as there is so much angst here about dirty disconnects :)

Suffixes are syllables that get attached to words. Sometimes they signify genus, numerus, case and that. Not composite nouns, though. We use 100% original nouns and smack them together to make new words. Within sensible parameters. So no suffixation so much. Only stuff like Compositenounreadjustmentproceduresupernintendant. A 100% organic nouns.

Neither of those are relevant to the discussion. You’re really grasping wildly. You can quote disparate, irrelevant sections of the EULA all you like. FDev have confirmed combat logging is an undesired exploit. That’s all it is. All you have achieved here is to prove you have difficulty comprehending the terms and conditions you signed up to. I wonder if it becomes invalid if you are not able to understand them? Would that mean Frontier have to revoke your account? I think it probably does actually. Perhaps you should cease broadcasting your poor understanding?

These are all words that don't really say anything about the topic, you're just diverting. "Profits" have nothing to do with this discussion.

No, because you have taken part of a statement and removed it from the context of the paragraph. That’s clearly in reference to systems and security.

Profits have everything to do with the discussion. Because Frontier won't dare to risk said profits when it comes to alienating one part of the playerbase or another.

They worship only one "god" (goddess) and its/their name is Bottom Line.

So did you join today just to be a part of the discussion?

Welcome :)

Yes, me posting a reference to where the EULA specifically references the policy on Cheating has nothing to do with a discussion about what is Cheating. You claimed the EULA supported your opinion, but when it does not it is suddenly "irrelevant". Despite the EULA addressing the topic, plainly.

FDev have confirmed combat logging is an undesired exploit. That’s all it is. All you have achieved here is to prove you have difficulty comprehending the terms and conditions you signed up to.
Here's a lesson in comprehension for you:
It's a pretty short sentence, I hope you can comprehend it appropriately.

Solution is simple

Combat log, rebuy screen upon next login

Great. As long as you're willing to accept the same consequences when someone simply accuses you of the same when you're disconnected by your ISP suddenly for whatever reason. Some guy next door digging up the gas pipeline... etc.

Meanwhile, back in reality some were discussing how you determine what a legitimate versus accidental log is.

Waiting with baited breath to see what your next "simple" solution is.
