A Simple Solution to Combat Logging

Yeah I can see the problem, my Mauve Adders don't seem to happen more than once a day (maybe once every couple of days). But several times within a few hours because it's raining? It would really suck. I'd definitely wouldn't play in Open on those days.
Exactly...but remember: All Modes are equal...so Solo won't help you, I'm afraid (not even Obi Wan ;) ).

Yea I had never been disconnected right after being interdicted so I went into PG to finish what I was doing. I can't remember which color ship was my error tbh but it was "lost connection to the matchmaking server" errors all that day. Funny thing is I had been blowed up by this particular cmdr twice before and was probably going to have to buy my little DbX again if I couldn't get away. The 2nd time they got me I was actively out looking for them for some sweet revenge too and still lost the fight lol.

Oh WOW!!! SDC...the very reliable source of "truth and honor". Well...no...I don't want to blame others for their style of playing this game. What makes you so sure they did ignore the reports? Do you have proof? Did Frontier stated officially that they ignored SDC just...because? Unproven accusitions. But wether they "ignored" SDC or not, it doesn't falsify my suggestion, that Frontier isn't ABLE to sanction c-logging properly now. And it doesn't "proof" that Frontier ISN'T working on to sanction it properly in the future. (DLC? Rebuild?)
You are a fool if you believe a group of people's traits and playstyles say anything about their quality of work. And you'd be even more of a fool for not researching first before you make a sarcastic statement, even though the quality is indeed pretty low and heated up by emotion.

I did you the favour and used a well know search tool, called google i ncase you have never heard of it, so you can quickly have a read yourself:

The last report in which the first one is linked too.

Well, one would hope you would be fully familiar with the EULA before informing your opinion on it:

The parameters or reality are not as you have declared. What is considered "cheating" is relevant to the EULA.
There is no legally binding document that defines what FDev considers to be cheating, though. They can say whatever they want on the forums or social media, but until they spell it out in the EULA, in-game behavior not specifically defined therein is fair game as far as legality is concerned.

And STILL doesn't proof that FDev is WILLINGLY ignoring your research...and STILL doesn't proof that FDev WILL NOT investigate c-logging further. 🤷‍♀️

So bring me an evidence, for your accusation that FDev is ignoring it all and won't bother to improve the game regarding c-logging even if they ARE able to resolve this issue for your satisfaction.

Your only "evidence" is the fact, that FDev didn't replied to the research. Maybe your assumption that FDev's ignoring clogging is born out of "your" hurt feelings?
Just asking questions. 🤷‍♀️

It’s very specifically not in the EULA. I asked them.

I think time would be better spent improving crime and punishment as opposed to wasting it on trying to stop something they will never be able to.

You know how the advice given to avoid ganking is to block them? Well you can always block cloggers as well. It’s a simple reality of playing in open - some people will log out if you attack. Just got to accept people will do what people will do and move on. You can always ask if someone wants to PvP. I’ve never really griefed anyone but I imagine people must log out all the time. If you’re going to play like that, it’s probably an occupational hazard.

Oh, are you serving this lie up again?

Exploits are against the EULA. It's been objectively identified to you, multiple times. Do not continue to spread misinformation.

I’m not debating with you. You have the information. Do with as you will. I don’t care if you choose to believe it or not.

What information? I have quotes and excerpts from the EULA and Code of Conduct proving what I'm claiming.

You have nothing proving what you're saying but your opinion, which you clearly hold in higher regard than the actual EULA in terms of what the EULA says. All that you've proven is that, when reality contradicts your opinion, you choose to reject reality.

it is indeed an exploit.
The EULA said:
7.3.3 By accepting these terms and conditions .... ii) agree to be bound by the Community Codes of Conduct for the Game, the latest version of which may be viewed here.
Code of Conduct said:
We do not tolerate the use of any exploits

You have provided no real information. You just repeat your opinion and present it as fact. One would think it would be rather unwise to continue to so blatantly misrepresent what is in the EULA on the forums, and yet you persist.

Improving C&P...great I'm signing that instantly with my own blood. Although I'm not a fan of comparing one game with another, but regarding C&P, I wish Frontier would copy the C&P system of EvE Online.

I know the advice. And I fully support that, although I never used the blocking unless someone's beeing VERY "unpolite" in the chat. I know when to fight and when (and how) to run. Therefore I find this whole discussion about c-logging fruitless.

Nevertheless, although Frontier advised to block those players, it's still no proof, that Frontier gives a damn about this whole topic. Still my guess stands: Frontier simply isn't technically ABLE to solve it sufficely.

Great. As long as you're willing to accept the same consequences when someone simply accuses you of the same when you're disconnected by your ISP suddenly for whatever reason. Some guy next door digging up the gas pipeline... etc.

Meanwhile, back in reality some were discussing how you determine what a legitimate versus accidental log is.

Waiting with baited breath to see what your next "simple" solution is.
Borg say: Cmndr butt hurt && salt = futile.

Rebuy screen regardless.

Get better ISP. Or Git Gud. :)

Hence the simple. /troll>

If you calm down and discuss the topic with some civility, I will consider engaging with you. You seem to be overly excited and upset over the absence of something in terms and conditions. I think if you reflect on it, it really isn’t worth getting upset over.

You seem to be projecting your frustrations.

I posted snippets from the EULA directly contradicting your claims. If you feel personally attacked by copy-pasted EULA text, that's your own issue.

You posted snippets, none of which contradicted my claims. You need to calm down.
