Hello FDev
First and foremost, Thank You! From the moment I first stepped into the worlds you created; from the dark, empty vastness of space in Elite Dangerous, to the better days of my youth with the lovable Zoo Tycoon and to a place where I could let my creativity blossom with Planet Coaster, I saw in each of those steps the passion and love and care you had with each project. Things didn't and don't always go your way but you never faulted and you learned and evolved and always strove to give the best and once more I feel you have done just this with Jurassic World Evolution.
Not only have your titles been a way for me to escape on my own adventures, it has allowed me to share those adventures with others and most importantly my son. Not too long ago and much sooner than I expected he took an interest to, "daddy's space game," and while being just barely 2 and lacking the coordination skills for anything but throttle and boost he became my copilot and a deeper bond was formed. He learned about space and the universe. Even if that knowledge wasn't fully understood it planted the seed for further study.
With Zoo Tycoon he learned about animals and my knowledge supplemented the basics found within your lovingly created zooniverse. I can't wait to continue this with Jurassic World.
Being about as big a dinosaur fan as space fan, if not more, I'm excited at the opportunity to not only enjoy the game on my own level but to enjoy it with my son by my side. It'll be a blast to teach him the names of the Dino's then let him play around with them, take pictures and interact and when the game is off i can once more turn that fun into an education experience and further the bond we have.
i can tell the care and love you have for this game and feel that you truly care for the source material youre entrusted with and I've not seen anybody do that with the Jurassic Franchise. I'm excited to see what you have created as it looks like a lovely mixture of the great operation genesis but with the style and depth and love we know FDev are best at.
So, FDev, from the bottom of my heart thank and I love you guys, each and every one that works within your walls, you have given me worlds and communities that I've been able to open up to and feel like part of a wonderful if not sometimes dysfunctional family and it has made the last 3 three years of gaming the most memorable. Thank you to you all, community definitely included in this. You guys have opened up your arms to me, a shy movie loving, game playing loner and have allowed me to become more social and allowed me to be more open. Have brought grant memories to last forever.
