Citizens of the galaxy,

My name is CMDR Yuri Nakamura, I come before you today with a request. In light of the events of 29/04/3301, I humbly request that we stand together in the name of the truth. While the dark truth of the Dynasty Expedition was revealed, another entity lurks in the shadows, that entity is Wreaken Construction. Deep inside the COL 70 sector, the operate without limits. They hide the truth from us, and refuse to hear our cries for the truth. We at the Galactic Contingency Fleet will not have this! After the events of the 29th, we within the GCF chose to uphold Salome's quest for the truth, and strive to defend humanity from all threats, human and non-human alike. Rebecca proved to us that there are powers at work in the shadows. She proved to us that there are threats that even instill fear into the hearts of our major powers.

After much discussion, we have chosen to assist CMDR Ashcroft in her quest to push Wreaken Construction out of their position of power in their control systems. Through various actions in their systems we intend to demonstrate to them the power that is in the hands of the people. We intend to show them their secrets will no longer be tolerated.

People have died inside of COL 70, and Wreaken has no intention of revealing the cause of their deaths. Why is that? A question we should all ask ourselves. The answers lie within the borders of COL 70, and we must show that we want to know those answers.
With that, I implore each and everyone of you to stand up and assist us. Help us show Wreaken that we will no longer tolerate secrets. This is a critical time for the human species.

As we fight among ourselves in petty squabbles, and fight wars among factions over disagreements long ago; know that a common enemy lurks, silently laughing, knowing we are ignorant to its ways. We can not continue like this. We must stand together, and we must show them that we can set aside differences.

We are the GCF, and the time has come to fight.

It pleases me to see that my message continues to spread throughout the galaxy. Your assistance in this campaign is greatly appreciated and has not gone unnoticed. Perhaps it will be what we need to push the stalemate we have been locked in for some time now. Wreaken may be a formidable opponent, pulling military favors with the wealthy elite, and hiring experienced independent pilots, but through their actions, they ensured their own demise. While they may be able to silence the few pilots who have breached their borders beyond Col 70, one can not possibly hope to withstand the force of humanity united.

Originally, this campaign was intended simply to allow researchers to continue their studies on the signal of the unknown probe that is tied to this area so that we might better understand the recent visitors to our galaxy. Wreaken was given multiple opportunities to come forth and create a compromise or at the very least make a statement... They refused on all occasions and chose silence as their answer. Since then, this campaign has continued to escalate and much blood has been spilled, including that of some dear friends of mine. This will not be easy as our enemy does not feel remorse or guilt for their actions. Unfortunately for them, neither do I... I have lead innumerable pilots to their deaths for the sake of this campaign and many more will die in the days to come.

In the beginning this was a mere protest against corporate secrecy, but this initiative is no longer solely about the freedom of information. While the release of the permits to Col 70 is still one of our primary objectives, this campaign now represents something far greater. The success of this mission will serve as a lesson to those who pull the strings from the shadows. For when you live your life in darkness, you also live among the monsters that dwell within it.

I suspect that Wreaken have taken on a contract to perform a specific task or set of tasks within Col 70 Sector for a third party. They are a mining and construction company, after all, and they are prepared to take great risks to secure their position as a leader in this field. It will be in their interests to remain silent so long as they have more to gain from fulfilling their contract than from disclosing details of it. It will be in their interests to remain silent so long as they fear crossing whoever hired them more than the galactic community, including members of the Elite Federation of Pilots. Disclosure may even have fatal consequences for senior individuals within the company. I would not rule out the possibility that Wreaken are themselves victims; a pawn in a power struggle subject to an offer they could not refuse.

This does not change the fact that the status quo of secrecy needs to end. I have recently proposed the formation of an investigation team with a remit to establish the extent of criminal activities involving the Zurara and the Dynasty Expedition and, if possible, to bring the perpetrators of any crimes to justice. Wreaken's activities are themselves in need of investigation and oversight. As members of the Elite Federation of Pilots, we presently lack the mechanisms, legal and otherwise, to properly carry out a public corporate inquiry into their operations and to arrest and bring to trial those suspected of criminal activities. Interpol could do this, as could the Imperial Intelligence services. We need to form alliances, not only to fight those who are our enemies - and we need to be sure who our enemies really are.

Direct opposition of Wreaken's corporate holdings in systems they control is but one avenue to be explored. I am not a good fighter but I am currently conducting a survey for new Guardians Ruins sites and expect to earn a considerable sum from the exploration data upon my return, later this week or early next week.
