A variation on the cockpit of FDL needed

FDL is surely a good ship, except two little problems:

1, the framework usually blocks hud data, expecialy the horrizontal bar, which blocks the distance data of target very often. I'm forced to shift my eye sight to left-bottom corner, which takes valuable time in combat.

2, the 2 seats are side by side, so the vision is asymmetric, which is inconvenient to me ....

So, could you provide another optional cockpit, that :
1, change the framework on the frontal glassed, making the vision wider with no blocking?
2, make the seats front and back, or just disable multicrew, which makes the seat of major pilot just in the middle of the cockpit?

If it's an optional cockpit in the store, I'll buy it.

This suggestion comes up alot.

It seems most people don't like the the FDL cockpit, including me.

Alternative Cockpit Layouts would be a pretty cool way for FD to make money. Especially on the FDL. Probably a huge amount of work to remodel the cockpit though.

i have no issue with the idea, however personally i would prefer FD fix the problem with the cloning of cockpits in actual different ships (and not as a paid cosmetic) before offering alt cockpits for the same ship.

Definitely shouldn't be a paid cosmetic, as the point of it is to make the FdL easier to fly - an in-game advantage, not a cosmetic.

It's worth remembering that there is supposed to be a Saud-Kruger (sp?) variant of the FdL. Maybe that could have a different cockpit layout ?
(remove the co-pilot and centre the pilot perhaps)
