The new narrative and thargoid combat scenarios are quite nice and welcomed even though they don't really bring new gameplay. Now, in the systems that are controlled by thargoids we have a lot of abandoned settlements that offer an opportunity for a brave scavenger. I started looting them, paying attention to the incoming thargoids and I found it an interesting new gameplay scenario.
My suggestion is to add randomly npc scavengers roaming in the settlements for additional challenge. if you add on foot thargoids patrolling the empty settlements will be even greater and highly appreciated. This is just an excellent opportunity and gameplay loop for a brave and opportunistic scavenger.
