About the Adder...

I've always loved the look of the ship but hated the view. I bought one and sold it soon after to stay in the Eagle... Just couldn't give up the view for more space.

Gotta say, the view is something I am having a problem with.

At first I couldn't figure it out but it seems like you're sitting way back in the cockpit and, as a result, your peripheral vision suffers.
Playing on a screen, that's probably mostly a psychological thing but it just feels like you can't see around you.

As for my Adder, it's found a niche as a sort of "armed taxi", for those times when you want to get to a different ship but you're carrying stuff that attracts enemies and you don't want to be a sitting duck.

Reports from VR user indicate that its not phychological - the view in the Adder is bad. And the seats are not very efficently placed.

I love the cockpit/flight deck it's awesome for planetary approaches and landing and decent in a Res or CZ. I only wish I could get a bigger ship with a similar flight deck. It feels so right, I don't want to be wrong.

I love the Adder, first ship I ever used for exploring way back when, got a lot of fond memories for that ship.[smile]
