About time FD paid attention to the launcher screen

It's 22nd May. There's a new Interstellar Initiative Phase 3 about to start on 23rd and FD is still posting about a CG that completed on 14th ..... of March !

Come on FD, it's not a good advert for the game, is it ? Please take a look at top right of your window, and find something else to put there.

A competition about what to post there would be a good idea .... I am sure this forum could come up with a few good suggestions. Even a picture of your favorite cats would be more informative than this !

I leave the launcher open all the time, but it only seems to update when it first opens, so I'm generally weeks out of date.

Lightspeed, I have noticed the same thing for the past month and it grates on me as well. Once you see it, you cannot avoid it every time you log in.

If they simplified it, with just a couple of 'important' announcements so they are bigger, would be an improvement. It would also reduce the load on FD to manage it every week.

Clearly the launch window is in less than Maintenance Mode .... maybe it's dying.

I sometimes wonder if there is actually someone in charge of the Elite Dangerous side of things at Frontier or if they are just "winging-it" from day to day. It really does look like someone needs to get a grip of much about this game. If "The Braben" actually looked at this game as if he were a new player I think he would be appalled.
