Great - and thanks
Hope I was in time. Finally got the laptop to stay active long enough to do this.
Doh! Sorry Darkoba, you missed the boat by a few minutes
I don't imagine theres any objections to adding you in there though
I'll edit the main thread and if a kindly passing mod could edit the poll?
Emailed Steve O B Have and asked him to help out. Looks like he's sorted it, three cheers for Steve![]()
Looks like you just missed out.
Well done TLG!
Also well done and commiserations too, to Frank and Cassius. It was veeerrrryyy close.
Looking forward to the next theme - I hope it kicks my muse into gear; she's been hibernating, even though we've had some Summer weather.
Thank you, and yes very close, and your all gonna curse me and wished you had voted differently when you see the next theme, should kick your muse into gear Darkoba...it is......"Blip blip blip"......i am now going to hide

Something wasn’t right, he could feel it, taste it almost. The ship in his reticule hung dead in space but the scanners were picking something up.
Cautiously he edged the Cobra forward this ship had been missing a long time. Wild, visceral rumours abounded as to its cargo but the finder’s fee from the Corporation was persuasive.
He suited up and floated over to the wreck. He checked the handheld scanner “Blip”……”Blip”……”Blip” his face froze in terror as the contacts multiplied and started to move rapidly towards him. He scrambled to escape, stumbling and falling.
Claws started to rip flesh….
Oh well, none of us need follow that then. Nice start to the 'Blip, Blip, Blip' theme, Philip![]()
Thought I'd get that one in early, no copying now my ideas now unless you want to cross my palm with credits!![]()
I was thinking in the area of a scene from 'Alien' where they were hunting the alien through the access tunnels of 'Nostro' (was that the ship's name?) and they heard the warning 'blips' as the Alien attacked another one of the crew. That would now be too obvious, and a bit plagiarist. I'll have to offer my muse a cup of strong coffee...
