The current forum drama is about the announcement that E: D will be available for Xbox, one.

Quite why everyone is so upset about one new player on an Xbox I don't really know, but I'm sure they all have very good reasons to be upset!

If you have been effected by any of the posts in today's Forum why not express your opinion through the medium of Drabble? Write a 100 word story on how the Xbox One announcement spells the collapse of modern society/the beginning of a new renaissance.

If you manage to chuck in some reference to "Fashion" you could also enter it into our Drabble contest. We've still got two places left. You only have 7 hours left to enter.

It was a new experience and he didn't quite like it. He'd gotten used to people raising eyebrows at his appearance and whispering behind his back. It was even sort of understandable. Overall, humans seemed to be a tolerant bunch. But here at Winnard's Hole, nobody acknowledged his existence.

At first he thought that the people at this station were of a particularly sensitive kind, but then he saw an apparition that made his eyes retract to the safety of his nether regions. The probulator? No, nastier-looking rayguns were prevalent.

Finally Rog found a cleaning robot that would talk to him. "Are you blind or something?", it said. "It says 'No tie, no service' right over the puckered anus at the entrance. Do you think this is some unfashionable backwater of space?"

Overall, humans seemed to be a tolerant bunch and didn't make a big deal of it. But here at Winnard's Hole, nobody acknowledged his existence.

Just checking to be on the safe side. That's 141 characters long so I'm assuming it's not a Drabble for the contest.

You like to live dangerously don't you Bleke... haha. Are you trying to find the latest you can post and still get in? haha.

When you said "Living Dangerously" I thought you meant about the word count. I'm usually very lenient with word counts but that is 40% over.

As far as time goes, There's still plenty of time. The poll doesn't go up until after 10:00 GMT, and when I'm hosting you can fiddle away with your drabble till the last minute.

I hoped that nobody would notice. ;)

I didn't even have time to write that, but I did it anyway. I will regret that hour of lost sleep tonight. But if it makes the corners of someone's mouth twitch a little, it'll be worth it.

Not to throw our Drabble thread off topic, but here's my thought:
More players means more money.
More money means more development.
More development means the game will stick around longer.
And the longer the game sticks around, being further developed, the happier I will be!

You may +Rep me now for my infallible Logic.

And sorry, no drabble from me this week. It's been non-stop work here. Phone, email, meeting, work. All in random order from sunup til I fall asleep. Only 6 more weeks to go! :)

Your logic is infallible.

Fallible being a station in HIP 101101.

I believe they have safe deposit boxes for these things.

Very similar to my thoughts, but I didn't want to post anything before I read some of the posts and then, darned nab it, y'all swooped in like a big swoopy thing and made the point more eloquently than I would have done. You pesky Texan ;)

Long may your logic smolder.

edit----------

Sorry for the last bit. I thought you said your logic was inflammable. I always get those two words mixed up.

Hope the work goes well Erik and that we see you back here drabbling soon
