It's late but great. 'Kow loves to chew over our drabbles. He turns them all into mulch by the end of the week anyway but I think he appreciates the nutritional value of the quality ones.

Before anyone accusses me of being an Imperial agent and an enemy of democracy, can i mute an idea?
people are surely enjoying the literary feast known as the Drabble; But wouldn't it be quicker for the host's to choose there favourite?, and the defending champ choose thereafter ?
The winner is supposed to get a reward afterall, and it means more drabbling and less waiting.
P.S If the champ simply cannot find a winner ( or secretly thinks that they are all rubbish ) the Moderator can retain the vote. In the name of pointless beaureacracy, can i suggest the moderator's assume the title of :
Deputy Marshall of Drabbletown ( Federation )
Imperial Governer of Drabbleonia ( Empire )
Drabble Secretary-General ( Alliance )

I personally do not think I would have the time to drabble if it was more than once per week but I'm not against the idea. It would at least allow more than 20 people to submit a drabble.
What are reputational points ?
Welcome back to the game Scorpio. I'm sorry about my flippancy. Reputational is simply the longification of "rep" which I feel is a little too glib.
The format of this Drabble game has evolved over time. I'm quite happy with it in its present form. The voting involves the reader in the contest and forces them to read the Drabbles. I'm also happy with the limit of 20 Drabbles. It means that any voter is not overwhelmed by the number of stories they have to read, and it also gives the contestants an incentive to get their entries in early.

A Drabble is so wonderful,
100 words exact.
Full of prose, sometimes morose,
and just a hint of tact.
Themes are set but once a week,
Imaginations blossom
Worlds created, franchises raided,
Oh look, a talking Possum….
When entrants 20 are collected,
Voting we must do.
We can declare, it’s quite unfair,
Poor TJ gets just two….
Sometimes we get a ringer in,
Kate, or Darren Grey
It matters not, who cares a jot
It’s just for fun we play.
Once again it’s Friday night
Time to hear the drabbles
To twitch we go, LAVE Radio
Hear Kow’s insanely babble!
