This the start of week 126 of the Drabble Contest. The challenge we are setting you is to write a story in exactly 100 words. Not a word more. Not a word less.
The story should be set in the Elite Universe and the exact number of 100 words does not include the title. On Sunday the winner shall have the honour of choosing the next topic. Our current wearer of the soggy toilet paper crown is Kelgrath for his wonderful story "What is the moon?". The topic he has tasked us with is "In Remembrance"
A good place to compose your story is recommended by Erik,

Entries to a poll will be limited to the first 20 Drabbles submitted, and the poll might go up earlier than Thurday night if all those slots are filled but don't let that stop you from showing us what you would have entered in the contest. Friday night the live readings occur
http://twitch.tv/psykokow so don't miss it, all drabbles are read out... 7pm BST
Please bear in mind that this is a family forum, read by little people with impressionable minds and old folks who are easily shocked. We want as many people as possible to feel comfortable on this thread. Don't write anything that you wouldn't want to read out in front of your family. It may appear a little hypocritical of me to ask you to watch your language. I myself sometimes find it difficult to know what is and isn't acceptable. The rule of thumb I use is that if think my words are shocking enough to cause faux outrage by a hypocritical tabloid newspaper, then I don't post it.
Does anyone else fancy hosting the poll this week?
