Accessibility Request: AUdiblize content of panels and menus

Hey,

I'd like to request support for vocalizing the content in panels and game menus. If this is done reasonably well, blind players such as myself might be able to enjoy the game, without having to depend on clumsy hacks such as optical character recognition. I'm uncertain if this can be done by third-party developers, given what's accessible via APIs, but would hope that something could be arranged.

If an IC justification is needed, call it an overly chatty ship's computer. :)

I am surprised that blind people are capable of flying a ship while avoiding obstacles. How do blind players deal with an instance with a lot of obstacles, like asteroid fields?

Covas is a thing. This same assistant should be able to vocalise the content menu quite well. Or maybe add some descriptions to the playlist on the menu that can be used to listen to Galnet articles while we are out there exploring?

Capi is in a bit of a weird state at the moment.

THis is just the start. :)

I'm not able to do much of anything at the moment without a lot of fiddling. Flight is a kettle of fish I'm hoping to tackle also, given some support. I'm trying to make the game accessible bit by bit, since there does seem to be a pretty rich ecosystem of text info available.

But no, I can't fly much at the moment because I have no way of knowing where I am, relatively. MEnus are just a hopefully easier place to begin.
