Account not being detected

So a friend of mine gifted this game to me via code and I successfully redeemed it and installed it. While this was going on I also created a frontier account and linked the two. Now when I auto log in via steam it just gives me the demo version to play. I have tried all methods in the FAQs including reinstalling in case it was a client side problem but nothing seems to help.
Any tips on what I should do? I already sent a support ticket but have received no response.
 
if support got your support ticket you get an auto response e mail reply almost immediately to say they have got your ticket sounds like they are not getting your ticket for some reason try a different browser perhapse

I did get a email response but that's all I recieved.
Any idea how long it takes for the support to respond?
Getting rather restless as I really wanted to play this game this weekend.
