I agree. We need some blood at the very least
Yes or no, this game is about building a park, not about tearing apart whole bodies, gushing blood and eating visitors. I can agree, this is part of Jurassic Park but it can't be mainly point as gore game. The best way is to add option to turn it on/off. So when we will turn on, there could be more animations, blood etc. It is only my opinion but as I menitoned before, it shouldn't bee typical bloody game about flesh which is flying everywhere.![]()
At looks really weird to see a Raptor attack a goat and not see any blood or it eating any chunks of meat. Blood should be on it's jaws and face area/snout. We should see jagged pieces of flesh in it's mouth. There should be blood pooling on the ground from the kill. No one wants Doom 2016 levels of gore and blood. But in real life animal kills are quite gruesome. Of course I don't need to see the animals bones and guts. But the way the raptor ate that goat in the species profile just didn't look right. As some have said it looked fake. Obviously with all the details and effort put into the animal kills should look the same way. Having a raptor that realistic looking with no blood or anything involving a kill is pretty noticeable.
I agree totally, although it's a game I want it to be immersive and have elements of realism such as the reality of an animal eating another animal. However, to keep it fair they should provide an On/Off option.

An on and off option is a good idea. I wouldn't force it on anyone. People should be able to choose. Maybe it can be set to off by default. See how it looks and choose what you want.
I still think the main reason is PEGI rating. As far as I know, it does have a category "fantasy violence" by which you can avoid bumping your rating up, but no such thing as "fantasy gore"

I found this Games Radar video of the game being played and they managed to get a Ceratosaurus cloned and it attacked the Struthiomimus. So the carnivores will at least attack the other Dinosaurs. But whoever was playing didn't zoom in to see the kill so I didn't see any blood or gore. I didn't see any blood on the ground either.

I've seen "minimal blood" defined somewhere as "static blood". That means that, for example there can be blood stains at the crime scene, but not someone slicing someone else's throat.
So I guess bloody carcasses could be doable, but at the current rating we won't get any "dinosaurs fighting, blood splashing everywhere" kinds of scenes, nor blood from humans chewed in half.
