ADS doesn't seem to be working as before

Just a quick ask I've been doing the assassination missions and going to the system and honking to find target planet to kill someone last two sessions my ADS hasn't lit up the planet in question and I've had to do the scan nav beacon thing to get the info . Am I doing something wrong/different or has something changed.any advise help would be much appreciated

It's a bug

You can still use the nav beacon until it's fixed.

Old bug: mission target gets announced out of nowhere. New bug: ADS doesn't find mission target. Can't win 'em all

As others have pointed out, its a bug and sadly, scanning the nav beacon wont work either. What worked fer me was just flying around the usual hangouts and looking for them in contacts list...sometimes they come looking fer you and sometimes you gotta go find them, do a flyby and they wake up and try to interdict ye...success.

Its a sticky plaster workaround until its fixed...not ideal but better than just cancelling the mission and taking a hit to rep standings being the alternative ^

No rant don't do that just an honest question didn't know it was a known bug but it was working fine last few weeks just recently started thks for the update though

Thought someone from QA said this was intended? The mission description still says you can use your ADS however. Hope its a bug.

Wouldn't bother me at all if intended. I use the ADS (for missions) as a convenience, and naturally it takes up a slot that could be used for defense.
