So, I have an ADC on my cutter at the moment, and while I haven't had too many problems with landing, I have to agree that the launches leave something to be desired, especially if the station is busy.
The ADC lifts you off the pad, and then announces that you're waiting in a queue. But that doesn't stop it moving your ship forward until it gets close to the slot. Then, it starts getting in the way of other ships trying to move through the slot, which leads the ADC bouncing you all through the station interior (and occasionally off the walls) trying to dodge said ships, before moving you back into the way of the next ship that's queued to leave.
Surely the sensible thing would be for ships (including your own when controlled by the ADC) to remain on the pad until the exit path is clear of other ships? One ship heading for the exit, the next ship just launching off the pad, and the other ships waiting their turn before lifting off one by one?
