Community Event / Creation Advice on writing .. ED: story

Thanks to everyone for the advice and feedback, It's really appreciated.

I have a question, is it a bad idea for me to continue writing in the same style I have been (albeit flawed) just to get the story out (kind of an outline of the story) then fix the mistakes in grammar and whatever else, or is it best to try to do that from the start (which would take me ages :))

cheers

Just a few thoughts:

Many writers use several passes: creative - get those ideas down and the story complete (so many fall by not finishing promising work, and don't worry if things come out crazy at this stage, momentum helps avoid writer's block); trim - not all of those great ideas are, in fact, great ideas (expect to chop 5-20% of a piece); polish - now get retentive on those words and iron out the kinks (this always takes me an age, but there's real satisfaction from producing something that reads well).

Everyone's writing method varies, just find the one that makes writing the most fun and bogs you down the least...

And here's the wheel, it isn't the greatest invention, but if you add it to another object, good times:) .........isn't that the point.
Write a story, see how it feels to me, then test it out on others .. it is funny how some people like what I have written and some feel that it is all wrong, I guess writing is subjective (probably, obviously... damn, too many adverbs!)

I seriously (oh, there's another one ... Does this one count?) appreciate the comments, I really do.
they have helped me so much, maybe this story might make the grade ...

we will see, right now I need some 'Cheese on toast'
