The latest Community Goal pits two rivals against each other in Aegis and Salvation - but which way are you siding?

What are your thoughts and theories on Salvation so far? Do you think they will bring much needed change or will you be sticking with Aegis?

Salvation, because for good or bad that's the greatest chance to see something new and fresh happening in the Elite universe. Even if he's a Guardian AI / some Evil Dungeon Master who later turns on mankind to destroy us all...at least it's something new

And I never trust anyone who claims to be "the Salvation" or "the Messiah". Rule of thumb: Whoever promises you paradise or utopia is usually the bad guy himself

Alright, let's see:

Aegis: Has caused countless deaths in their efforts to escalate the Thargoid conflict so that they can profit from looting Thargoid tech and meta alloys. Started off as a research organisation, then got hijacked for that purpose and turned into a glorified weapons dealer, channeling vast funds from the superpowers and then triggering further attacks on those superpowers to justify their funding. Does basically no actual research, with their modules generally being designed by others. Invades Thargoid territory for their space-oil.

Salvation: is not aegis
