Aisling's Angels - Support Disney Princess Space Khaleesi in Her Bid to Make Anime Real

Another article on Aisling and Patreus.
[h=3]Patreus and Aisling Attend Benefit Gala[/h]Denton Patreus and Aisling Duval were spotted in attendance at ‘A Dinner to Defeat Dementia’ in Capitol last night. The Empire’s favourite power couple spent several hours mingling with Senators, CEOs and a few of the charity’s lucky patrons, before dazzling the crowd with a rather energetic display on the dance floor.

Aisling was dressed in an unusually demure, long necked, floor length red gown with flowing sleeves. The Senator was dressed casually in an open necked navy blue shirt with stylish silver trimming along the collar and cuffs.

The couple were accompanied by Aisling’s new entourage, a dozen young orphans, dubbed Aisling’s ‘Cherubs’ by the attendees. The children delighted the crowd by singing, dancing and reciting several epic works of Imperial poetry.
I wonder if while there are no Aisling events, we should go help Patreus in that another war of his?

I have been over in Kui Hsien. I figured if Aisling is going to have an alliance with anyone, it will likely be Patreus, so went to lend my support, while also trying to keep our influence in Cemiess building.

True enough, and with the 1.3 announcement today there was no mention of a potential alliances system, so may well be more prudent to solely support Aisling.

As such, I have moved back to Cemiess to continue bumping influence there with Empire Party.

Hello guys. Just some Cemiess update

Empire Party 37.3% (v) - Boom
Cemiess Commodities 26.6% (^) - pending states: Boom critical, Election
Scum Council 0% (v) - Outbeak - pending states: f u c k e d up
Imperial Society 17.3% (v) - pending states: boom
Cemiess Inc 17% (^) - Boom - pending states: election

Really? why purple council still exist?? die already.

I figured if Aisling is going to have an alliance with anyone, it will likely be Patreus

yeah, i was thinking about it.. but we dont have any confirmation yet.. i'll keep waiting.

Greetings, fellow imperial pilots.

I am currently on a long-range exploration mission, but am toying with the idea of getting more involved in imperial politics once I return. Your cause touches me. I admit I have a certain personal fondness for lady Arissa and her crusading attitude towards ne'er-do-wells, but your goal, to truly assist dear Lady Aisling... It cannot help but touch my knight's heart and makes my spirit soar. In a word: I would be honored to be called 'friend' by you.
And perhaps, perhaps I will survive this exploration trip (I already courted death three times, and have still to reach my target) and return to Mackenzie station with some quite stellar exploration data?

If you can stand the long-range lag of a few thousand light years (even hypertransmissions have their limits) and find it in your heart to extend friendship to a far-off traveler, my CMDR name is exactly Lance 'Spacecat' D. with the dot. No I'm not revealing my full last name.

Knight Lance of the proud Imperial Navy, signing off.

Here it says powers will be able to be allied. But I, personally, after trying taking part in Patreus's war, decided to return to bounty hunting in Beta-1 Tucanae. Pirate ships often don't wear shields and pay much more than ones in conflict zones. Only there's a risk of killing myself against a rock, which already happened to me on more that one occasion =(

It's nice to actually, finally, be the most influential faction in the system.

We were actually at 52% a few days before the Anti Slavery CG started. Kept waiting for a civil war to trigger against some of the other factions (one of which was at 0%), maybe take a new station, but nope.

Ah interesting. But yea, I did a few mill over there before heading back to Cemiess. Was fun putting my new Vulture through it's paces (such a nice combat ship!), but ultimately missed generating trade for Cemiess in my Python, and the more lucrative RES bounty hunting (handing in vouchers at Mackenzie ofc!).

The more the merrier, and good to have you on board. Last I heard Fontes is heading up the private group (if it's stlll going and you wanted an invite there), so should give him a poke. I really should get myself an invite too with 1.3 coming :)

Thank you for replying Kosei, I'll throw Fontes a line. Meanwhile here's a little story from beyond the edge:

Travel Advisory is issued for NGC 6124 SECTOR DW-N C6-10. It is far enough away it shouldn't bother nonexplorers for about a thousand years or so, but still: It's not safe to warp in that system. Current hyperdrives might make you warp inside the 'B' star corona.

I'll give you one guess why my exploration-rig Type-6 is now nicknamed the 'Sundiver' (and needs nonemergency repairs, thank you Lakon for making rugged ships)

Look at how close those stars are dancing. They sport an impressive 7 to 8 hour orbital period between them.

You can count me in, for now (there are a lot of developments going on right now, and I will only support Aisling as long as she remains the best possible option for positive reform in the empire - I don't like her stance on narcotics).

I recently inherited imperial citizenship and the status as a minor lord in the imperial court from my recently-deceased birth-father. I will work my way up supporting Aisling and her Empire Party.

I understand that feeling far too well... 75% of my insurance claims are asteroid crashes, not kidding. I'm good at escaping losing dogfights, not so good at escaping asteroid impacts.

A huge growth in the system's GDP and trade is being attributed to the Empire Party's dominance. It's quite obvious that the increased economic freedom of the released slaves not only contributes to increased commerce, as the former slaves are now able to buy and sell things like normal citizens and thus participate in the economy to grow it, but they are also producing more with their labor since they keep the product of it.

A job well done, ladies and gentlemen, but the fight to liberate the slaves continues. I am glad I found this cause.
