Powerplay Aisling's not gonna last long now...

you will, because it makes miners come to alisa, And they will bring sideffects, like population and then helping wiht other stuff. but nto a single metallic prestine ring in her space just sucks.

She doesnt need to Control or Exploit the system for her Pledged Cmdrs to mine there you know

people tend to like being able to mine IN the area wehrre their Power is because you can then better combine some PP features with mining. So it makes a BIG difference in the choce for a facion being able to have this together.

Thats an entire different level of quality in synergy effects being created.

What PP feature that Aisling offers could you possibly combine with mining? We get a reputation bonus that AFAIK is still broken and even if it worked is exceptionally useless since it takes all of 5 minutes at any RES to max your rep with any major faction. Prismatic shields are available at EVERY station. I fail to see the point.

She increases the selling price of palladium, platinum and painite. But that still doesn't mean you have to get a bad system for it, since you can very well just go to the nearest control system.

Torval is named to be the mining power, but she sucks because she ends up paying less for metals. Mahon is the best choice for miners as long as we are #1 and Rating 2 is achieved. Aisling ties with us when we drop to #3 and goes ahead when we are below #4.

Anyway, it's close to impossible not to have a pristine metallic within a power's control bubble. Just have to look harder.

Hmm, maybe ranking up by having possibility to get preparation material close to the mining site instead of making a 20minute travel trip for something that replenishes every 30 minutes? You know miners aren't exactly those people who go undermining.

@Apos the nearest controlled systems is quite a good bunch away. Also there ARE prestine metallics in power controlled bubbles. And there would efinately be quite a good benefit for Aisling as faction if you can tell people that there is a metallic pristine ring in her space. In a RVR based game, the amount fo players you have on your faction matters most. it would be a bgreat chance, but guess you get blinded by the not so proficent CC's the system gives. Quite sad.

Hi Lily, you may have more luck talking to players within your own power. I believe this would be the place to go and ask:
https://www.reddit.com/r/AislingDuval

Better place to make your case methinks.
Aisling could do with a system outside the bubble, most others do.

Have fun.
:)

Certainly, but that would require someone to do the searching first. That someone could certainly be you to set an example as well. Share your findings in the Aisling reddit so that you enrich your power's miners afterwards.

Most of the organised part of Aisling has had their hands full with more urgent matters related to their power than searching for pristine metallic rings. It won't happen on its own, so if you consider it such an important matter and of benefit to Aisling, be the person who provides that benefit.

Thx for the link, but meh reddit.

It's not as bad as you may think.
Most ED Reddits are pretty civilized and it came to me as much of a surprise because I've hated Reddit related shenanigans in other games.
Won't hurt to give it a go. Read it first so you get a feel for it though.
We wouldn't be pushing you towards this for no reason.
Bring what you have to the table of the Blueberry Muffin (Aisling) because it has value.
Discuss it in a calm and open manner.

I AM a miner :) . I am also an underminer. And an Aisling pledge. I don't care that I have to mine outside my faction space because there is no tangible benefit to mining within it. I have a Pristine Metallic ~10 LS away from a High Tech station.

It's funny, when PP first started I wrongly predicted that princess robot bubblegum would be in the lead due to hordes of space knights supporting her. I'm glad to say I underestimated the Elite community badly. <3

There are a few of us Aisling's Angels out there.

Money talks more than fabulous hair though.

Humans are notoriously unpredictable.
Not all think with their appendages...but that's not to say some do.
Most of us are too old for her anyways...we would only be her "Sugar Daddy"...

Actually, that "bonus" was her downfall, as people farming merits prepped extraction systems to bring palladium back. The end result is twofold:
-Aisling got stuck with lousy systems
-Price of metals in all the now-controlled extraction systems rose, nullifying the bonus. (Because the buy price level is also affected)
