I also wanted to give a shoutout for the ongoing "Strange Worlds" video series from Cmdr Skoomer. It's been running for over a year now and has just released its 24th episode. I've mentioned it before and it has a permanent home in the "screenshots and videos and songs" section but the latest episode had me in tears this morning and the series has been soooo amazing that I thought it deserved a fresh mention.

Added MadDogMurdock's new "combat tips" thread (which is receiving loads of excellent advice) to the "ships, weapon stat's, combat tips, etc" section.
Added Polygon.com's "Beginner's guide to Elite: Dangerous" to the start of the "manuals, guides and other stuff for new players" section.
Added two (mis)adventures of my own to the "epic tales of derrring do" section (always felt slightly awkward about doing this but seeing as FD's Paul Crowther just called one of 'em "epic" who am I to argue). 
Thought I'd let you know of what's upcoming this month. Keep tuned to the appropriate thread, but here I'll leave a little teaser:
