When you say "lazy" you are implying they could have done better and chose not to, right? If not, then you need to pick another word to use because this is the impression you're giving everyone and it's insulting to the development team.
Oh get off your high horse mr. white knight! :p

They could have done better and chose not to, yes, that's the vibe I'm getting from this.
Could also be that in the hurry they didn't think of it (at all, or as being important to anyone).
So what? Copy-paste job still breaks muh immershum.

I don't care about the section names (as long as sections align with 'base' items I guess), but we also need a numbering for the obelisks before systematic mapping. I guess if ppl note things in their own system they can transcribe to any agreed map.

Yes. And even if it's +-30° to system plane we can't measure system plane tilt to galaxy disk. So this data is interesting but lead nowhere then we want to triangulate by real angles. Simplistically, we can estimate something.
Maybe it will help to find another ruins but it need to confirm.

If there is something to this, it would make Synuefe XO-P c22-17 C 1 a decent candidate. It has a planet tilt of 28.5° and orbits a red dwarf. No moon though.

Biology/6 (from the spreadsheet, so may be troll): WE ARE THE GUARDIANS -"We've barely scratched the surface with the Guardians. There is so much yet to discover. But this new data contains one tantalising detail that stands out: their biochemistry was very similar to our own. They had blood in the same fashion as us, and it fulfilled exactly the same role as it does for us. Beyond this, they share a similar genetic structure, with DNA and RNA their core building blocks. Although a full analysis has not yet been conducted, this might be evidence of a common ancestor, but also of a branching in their genetic history. This is an astounding discovery!"

(So it's .. like ... prometheus :) )

Thargoids made us...

So looking on numbers of decoded ancient data this site must be a first site that we had to find :D
xDeath ruined MB plans? :D But on other side FD showed moon 1Ba in trailer so this was to be expected...

Might simply be convergent evolution..

Maybe we're wrong about the guardian/thargoid relationship?
- the Guardians were a race that focused on biological engineering.
- they started developing mechanical technology, and some Guardians even became 'cyborgs' via technological implants.
- religion appeared, maybe somehow tied to the 2 opposing ideologies.
- a religious war caused the fall of civilization.

So, rather than the Thargoids being 'weapons' created by the Guardians, they may be descendents of the Guardians. In which case, we're hunting robo-Thargoids?

And by messing with the robo-Thargoid ruins, we invoke the ire of the hyperdicting Thargoid "Guardians"...

Just making a start on a proposed index for the site. I'm broadly in agreement with allocater.
This is my hi-rez with a bit of post-pro to enhance details.
