thanks - I've made a composite image to make it easier to compare.
I think I have them in the right order.

Excellent composite image.

I wonder if this is a map of the network, viewed from different directions?

That wound require that all the small and the large triangle(s) are in-fact 3 dimensional, consisting of a minimum of four systems(could be five as well).

Small triangles have approximately 70 ly between systems. The large one would then have more or less 420 ly sides.

This new galnet definitely looks like its a slightly repurposed message that could have originally lead us to the ruins. Like the unknown comms beacons and such. Interesting that we have more sites. Possibly thousands.

I definitely think the three new systems will be useful. But I also believe there are still more in the current systems we have been searching in. Just less people have been looking in them since we found one site in them.

The clusters thing is also interesting. There is a sort of triangle cluster located in the middle 3 systems of the 5 we had before the new 3. So maybe thats the sort of cluster he's talking about?

Whilst this means I might crack the Asp back out, it doesn't resolve one major point - pixel hunt.

We either accept that this is a mission for the very very patient or those with appropriate hardware OR we deduce the pattern.

Unfortunately I suspect that we can't do the latter until we have discovered more via the former...

The language is ambiguous, but, I would suggest that we concentrate on locating one site in each system, until it is proven otherwise. With three new potential sites we do have a reasonable chance of finding a third type of ruin.

These new sites, along with those we have already discovered may help us discover a pattern that would unlock further discoveries. For instance, as far as I recall all of the sites so far reside in systems with a dwarf star. If these systems follow that pattern, that might narrow down somewhat the search parameters.

I was feeling a little disheartened about this puzzle, but the spark has been lit again. My Asp is waiting for my return, eager to embark upon the search again.

Fly Safe Commanders 07.

Oh, I'm sure it's going to fit with the current discovery mechanism around the +/- 30 lat/long idea. Still a pixel hunt though.

We already have one site outside of the +/-30 range, by quite a way IMO, still, that may be the exception - we'll find out soon enough.
Like you say though, a pixel hunt, or for some, a lag count hunt (which does not work for me :()

Puts Corvette back in storage.
Brings out the old rust bucket of an Anaconda exploration ship.
Targets Jacksons Lighthouse.
Here we go again :)

There's a pattern. There's a secret. There's a key.

And, there's a homeworld......

Frustratingly none of the new list of systems are in EDSM (as was the case for 2 of the most recent set), rendering identifying other systems based on patterns very laborious!

Also, if one site in each system is discovered, and none of those found are a third type, then we know there will potentially be multiple sites per system, except for the first site that was found (which is the end point)

Unless the infamous Fdev typo team wrote this, I would suggest that the grammar indicates there are 3 sites in each of the 3 systems. Which could also be why we haven't found the third layout yet in the others. Because we have just stumbled upon one and then moved onto the next system. There may very well be 3 layouts per Guardians system.
