Interesting one for carriers of UA/UP

Limpets
- Untargetted collector limpets will not target items owned by their player

So, if you eject one, you have to target it to pick it up again.
 
Here's a sublist of all the changes that might be interesting from the patch notes:
I'm also quite interested in:

- Added permadeath for CMDRs slain by mysterious things
- AI: Improved mysterious thing ramming tactics
- Audio: Added dying CMDR scream to ship destruction
- Encryption on mysterious thing coded messages improved to 512 bit
- Upped NPC aggression level as regards 'fired at barnacle' flagging
- Increased rate of fire on anti-matter cannons to 8/sec
- Added eight new cheese-related rare goods
- Added pilot damage/wounding
- Increased lens flare on player ship destruction as a result of mysterious things doing a mysterious thing
- Deletion of all incidences of the number '8' from game
- Audio: Added subsonic satanic chanting
- Improved puzzles in line with suggestions from GCHQ and NSA
- Deleted all lvl 5 resistance boosters from game
- Audio: Added subliminal suggestions
- Exquisite Focus Crystals now may only be found orbiting Sag A*
- Changes to mysterious thing AI in reaction to players using thermal weaponry. AI will now switch to only using its disintegration ray.
- QOL: Locked 28 explorers eternally in the void by permit locking every system within 200LY of them
- Added antenna to portraits of some NPCs, reflecting their symbiosis with mysterious things

PS: Is the Space bar (from your keyboard) working weird in the forums from time to time to any of you guys as well? I checked opening a bloc note and it works just fine but once I want to write in the forums from time to time it stops working. THARGOIDS!! :eek:

There's a spacebar issue for sure. When you reply with a quote, spacebar does not work. Only if you hit "enter" and then you come back to the previous line, it starts working.

MODERATORS? Is it a NEW known issue?

Just use the 'Go Advanced' button. That one still works.
 
I like those two:

- Increased the distance at which persistent POIs will spawn from 5km to 15km and also made the persistent POI placement avoid placing near POIS from other placement types
- Optimise the wavescanner to better handle multiple signal sources

Could make searches easier a bit.

so permadeath screaming cmdr's subliminal messages

Disable the rich text editor, set it to standard here: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/profile.php?do=editoptions#optionsmisc - I probably will be changing its default behaviour in the near future as it appears to be a brower update issue. I've not edited the editor code in many many many months.

If this means that you die and cannot re spawn, i dont have a lot o time to play and starting from scratch would make me quit.
there better be a way of keeping the pennies/ships and starting a new cmdr as the son or daughter of the old cmdr.
 
I think you are right: it's a Chrome issue it seems. I've tested it on PC, OSX, Chrome, Safari.
It is occurring on Chrome only, both PC and Mac.
