Most frustrating thing... Trying with all sort of Graphic options combos but this:

I fly around and suddenly I see a "blackish" shape. As I draw near it disappears and blends with the background and turns to same colour as the planet... Does anyone else experience this and maybe found the way to get rid of it?

Extremely annoying since some shapes really look big and like could be something but it is a shape just from the distance...

Isn´t this the same space-tripper than those mushrooms in the Colonia-Area? Biohazard FTW :)

Slightly different seems tht there might be a degree of procedural generation similiar to flora and fauna in no mans sky they havent told us about

Hey guys, so I was exploring one of the large craters on IC 2391 Sector ZE-A d101 B 2 and came across this:

I was wondering whether this is just a graphics glitch or a graphics glitch showing a POI? I've seen them mentioned before with the other alien ruin is all, so wondering if this is yet another clump of trees or something.

Another question, has there been some generally agreed upon criteria for a planet/area where a ruin could spawn? I'd like to narrow my search and have no idea where to start...

This is a graphical artifact, but I get this almost every time I approach the ruin. I have also seen it on pictures from the approach to settlements (in the Rift, among others).

The effect may be a result of the terrain modifications that are done when placing a permanent POI(like a ruin, barnacle or settlement).

I stored your screenshot. ;)

I'm relying on the music primarily with visual as a secondary method.

I have ambient music (normal music off) all the time when flying around but finding that exact one tune is hard since it is so similar to the one playing already.

I know visual is almost impossible but those black specks\shapes that appear and then disappear as I approach are really starting to get on my nerves.

How about another CG to give us the exact co ordinates or at least a narrowed down planet on 1 or 2 of those sites, ram tah could run a community goal for exploration data to help him refine his search paraments if anyone at Fdev is paying attention and watching, its a circuit breaker allowing a plausible way forward

I found a similar great shadow on 1Ba (present ruin's moon). Flew around at an altitude of 100+m - found nothing. Most likely it's a rare glitch, but better to double-check.

Theres 2 distinct things about it

1. The chatter (I think of being almost insect like)

2. The wooshing noise

There's a wind like noise in the standard ambient sound but this one is different. Hang out at the ruins (or listen to a video) and you can get a clearer idea of the differences.

Do this after flying around for a bit and it's easier to discern

Im kinda out of ideas of where to look. I tried the coordinates from the one compass calculation and a few other sources and have found nothing. Im open to any idea of where to look. Currently located in the 119 system at 11B.

Ok, I'm out of the search... Today I dreamed about looking for the ruins and finding a huge house for very thin giants (who turned out to be fat and... handicapped) and running away from them in a Sidewinder, which brought me to second, bigger ruins in the middle of a huge plane on a planet with 3 moons.

And it was all covered in beige snow.

I crossed the space madness line.

Good luck and stay sane o7
