Greetings, not sure if it's a bug. I dismissed my ship and now only have the option to leave 'settlement 317' in red as an option.
Edit : I dropped my cargo of two meta alloys canisters and now it is offering ' leave settlement 346m' instead.
Edit again, distance to move in m's before ship could be recalled

on Xbox, just had a double encounter in Pleiades sector OI-T C3-7 on planet 6A.
since I got there while it happened (literally flew off for a few minutes to scan the nav beacon and land at a settlement) i have no proper pics or vids. seemed like the second arrival was bugged since it appeared that the alien FSD wake was still open from the previous alien ship and that the tendrils that usually open such wake were still engaged and connected to the ship while it harvested the barnacle.

Actually it is a decagon with 10 sides, with a darker one in its center - possibly a HUD but it's floating outside of the cockpit

The is a message in the light, at 43sec, 55sec, 1min and 1:21. Might be me being nuts but reflections don't do that.
I was watching that stream and had the event happen to me as well, however that was my thought too until it happened to me
Ahh ok, it is probably a scripted event then, rather than a ship moving from place to place.
So just a thought on the flowerships - the large balls that are in the cockpits seem to have roughly the same surgace pattern as the inner part of the central part of the underside of the ships. There also appears to be a passageway from the cockpit through to lower in the ship. I've always wondered if the ships were dropping off the balls onto planets and whether they are then growing into the barnacles. Perhaps it's the reverse and what's gathered from the barnacles gets balled up and passed to the upper of the ship. Perhaps both are happening.

We can't move it until 2.4. We haven't decided where it's going yet, though the Pleiades would be the leading contender I suspect.
Not sure what the "large balls" are you see in the cockpit - it seems empty, with 3 tunnels out of the back, one above the other.
I've been left in BL1P's instance with the captive flower ... do i risk burning the house down and leave the session on overnight? lol

Parked almost above that Barnie - although not *directly* above for obvious reasons...
Would be handy to have a base in Eta Carina if we find a few more ruins & want to coordinate a search - but not if we had to leave the Gnosis there until 2.5.
Do we know if docked CMDRs move with the ship? Would be a fun way to organise trips to remote areas
