All but tiny cargo racks removed from Omega Mining?

I arrived before the CG (and before mining equipment was added) and could swap my explorer loadout for cargo racks in preparation for the CG. Now I find that Omega Mining only has 2E cargo racks which is way too small[woah]. What happened to all the cargo racks? Did the new SRVs take up all the space?[cool]

I think they removed everything, now that the CG is over. Rohini is probably the closest place with anything decent, but their inventory is pretty limited too, so I'd check what they have before flying the 2500 ly to get there.

or if you have the jump range you can go back to the bubble. it only took me a few hours there and a few hours back, i did before they added the PWS. once i get back to Omega they added them, the rotters....

son of a .... i just took a trip back to the bubble to a high tech station to get some stuff and now i'm 75% the way back to omega. The plan was to transfer that stuff to omega mining and buy an ASP x there to fit said items on. plan out the window now.

For future reference it would be worth you working out how module storage works so you can swap things around without having to rely on the local outfitting options...

I haven't looked to see if the asps are still there. I suspect they just removed all the mining gear that was added for the CG.

Over on the main exploration forum yesterday, Col Frost posted about becoming wanted after bumping another ship and consequently getting sent to Rohini......so if you want to save half the trek.....get wanted and go pay your fine.. Instant transportation.

I would expect equipment that was added for the CG to be removed, but even the original supply before the CG? Omega Mining Operations is now a mining colony without even basic mining lasers!

Oh well, I guess Rohini (?) it is then...

Does it still have a shipyard, or did I get a free ship transfer back to the bubble?

I'm pretty sure the shipyard is still there, but I haven't checked yet. It would be terrible if they locked people into their mining ships before departure on Sunday.

The shipyard is still there. I’m not sure how long Omega Mining will be in business for since they sold all their mining equipment and have nothing to store their ore in...

I’m halfway to Rohini and knowing my luck, I’ll get there in time for OM to restock all their pre-CG gear. I’ll then return to OM and find out that the route to WP3 takes me back through Rohini...

The shipyard in omega is limited to the sidewinder and hauler now.
