All modules weaker since update? Bug or Intentional?

There is a related thread about canopy integrity having been cut in half since the update, but has anyone noticed other modules having problems as well? I just bought a type 10 mostly for mining, so it's new to me, but I engineered it to a level that should be able to hold its own in combat. I just picked a couple of fights with supposedly easier NPCs (like competent, expert rank). They all are able to disable major modules shortly after taking out my shields. Shield and hull damage seems to be working just like before, but even with module reinforcement the ship gets disabled pretty quickly.
 
I have been flying my T10 in AX CZ's tonight and it has stood up pretty well (for the pilot's skills) and modules appear to behave as expected, but it is mostly reinforcements and not a lot else...
With luck a better source of resply will come along for you :)
 
Felt like the 2 Burst Lasers on my Krait Mk 2 weren't packing the same punch that they did before the patch, but I figured that was just me missing more than normal. It sure was suspicious though.

I switched them out for Beams a few hours ago and I'm happy again.

Shields on it are still functioning as normal, and I don't stick around long enough after the hull starts getting dented to know for sure how the HRPs and MRPs are doing. I can say I took more damage than I ever have before to internal modules after my shield went down in one fight....but again, that could just be because I stuck around longer than normal, I never really time my "Shields down->BSR" time. Edit: Oh, and a wing of 4 special ops plus like 4 other enemies were all shooting at me at once.....so yah, that has never happened before either. LOL

Previously, I could do numerous CZs and rarely have an issue. First time post-patch doing CZs was today and I almost lost my canopy 4 times. Also, did they already nerf drag munitions? I see no effect on npc's. They boost away like normal..

They haven't changed the drag effects back yet, but people reported that it doesn't work on NPC's since patch day.
 
Just spent a couple of hours in CZs with one of my Corvettes.
Still not overheating and it's still like flying an anvil while they fire at me with peashooters. 🤷‍♂️

On a related note, "Anvil" would be a nice name for a battleship.....
