All New Features we need in JWE3! - PART II

PATHS
  • Paths now conects with fences: all paths in game can now be conected to a fence, crating automatically a gate, where guests can move into a secured section or inside a paddock. This allow the creation of "gentle giants petting zoo" exibition style + a secured area only for staff, surrounded by fences.
  • Paths can be pleaced really close to other objetcs: this modification allow paths to be pleaced together contructions, fences, decorations (like, with no space between them).
  • New path - maintence road (staff only): this path is actually a road, that players can use to make only for the satff jeeps to use. That way, we can fiz the problem of staff jeeps that cant reach certain places. This roads are made of dirt or sand, and only conects the ranger station post to fences/paddock gates.
  • New path - covered path / tunnel: this type of path has a roof ou tunnel, that creat a beautiful and different place to guests walk by. Can be made of glass (JW era), concrete (JP Era).
  • Paths and water - bridges: When the playes places a path in water, it creates a bridge, so different areas af the park can be conected even theres a lake or river in the way.
VEGETATION / ENVIRONMENT
  • Dinosaurs can eat biome plants / indigenous vegetation: After jw2, there's a limitation, where herbivore dinosaurs can only eat "paleo plants" but in the same time, dinosaurs are loose in wild, with modern vegetation. We need this change so dinosaurs can eat all vegetation avaible in all biomes. they can live with this food source, but specific vegetation (like in JWE2) feeds them a lot better and provides a large lifespan. In sanbox, playes can choose to use paleo vegetation or modern vegetation to feed dinos.
  • Fog in tropical biome: This awesome environment feature needs to be avaible in the tropical biome, same as the biosyn valley in JWE2.
  • New big trees: As seen in jurassic park original trilogy, the 5 deaths islands have big end tall trees (with big roots), that we never get to see in game. references: jurassic park brachiosaurus tree scene
  • Waterfalls (New) : can be a new terrain mecanic or decoration. Diffrent shapes and sizes.
  • Heat wave (new): as seen in JPOG and the JWE1 pre-release material. Tropical biomes have a heat wave, that changes the behavior of the dinosaurs ( makes them more thirsty) and the becomes more orange, dryer and warm. Dinosaurs with no acess to water can die and guests will ask for more drink machines.
  • All biomes with logs, dead trees and rocks in vegetation brushes: this will allow players to use vegetation brushes with automatic rocks and dead trees / logs in it. Same thing of the biosyn valley biome"
  • Natural live prey in biomes: this change consists in moder animals, that live loose in the parks / territories. So, in sand box, carnivore feeders wont be necessary (natural reserves and santuary) exemple: deers / wild pigs avaible in forests, fish in laggons/water, cattle avaible in deserts, rats or small mammals for small dinosaurs, etc.
  • New Biome - Swamp / Wetlands: speficic biome for pterosaurs, spinosaurids and semi-aquatic creatures. Can be a shallow water brush with mud.
  • Deep water: water can be made in two diferent depths: shallow water and deep water. The deep water is used for the new "creataceous cruise" attraction and swimming dinos (big carnivores, sauropods)
  • New Vegetation - aquatic plants: water lilies and swamp plant species.
  • New vegetation - Tall / long grass: long grass vegetations so dinosaurs can hide a little bit.

NEW MECANICS AND FEATURES

  • Abandoned buildings: in JWE2 we had the "destroyed" skins of all buildings. It make more sense to have 3 skins of "conservation" for the buildings: Normal, destroyed (after a dinosaur attack, hurricane, heavy rain, sand storm) AND if the player dont fix this last one, the building become Abandoned. this skin, deactivate all buildings functions and give them a abandoned look, with vegetation growing, broken structure and dusty/mossy look (depending on the biome).
  • Baby / juvenile dinosaurs + mating behavior: well, this one is really requested since the first game (jpog). With this fan favorite update, dinosaurs can be created as only females ( so they cant reproduce and having female movie skins). If males are in the same place, they can reproduce. I understand that is hard to put this feature, bur its not impossible. So all creatures will have a baby model, a juvenile model and a adult model.
  • Security stations (Avoidance Beacon, sentry turret and security camera): this new security buildings are the same as the JPOG ones, that makes guests more safe. Avoidance beacon can repel loose creatures, sentry turret will be configurate to sedate / eliminate loose dinosaurs and security cameras will make a report to the player when something wrong happens: dinosaur loose, attacking attraction or trying to scape.
  • "hand red flare" Attractions can have a " hand red flare" to atract dinosaurs close of the viewin area.
  • "Cleaner Station": new staff in the parks, that will only make sure that buildings are clean. Same mecanic as the JPOG.
  • Island generator: this mecanic is really requested by players too. We need a island generator, like in JPOG. In addition to the movie islands, new entire and customizable islands to play.
  • New filter for dinosaur menu - Dinosaur Size filter + Dinosaur aggressiveness filter + Original fossil continent filter : player will have a option to find similar species in menu / database! Exemple: i want to create a only "african" dino paddock, so i can filter in database or dinosaur genome library african dinosaurs. Or select the samller species to make a small dinosaur paddock. Or select the most agressive dinosaurs (all of then will need a agressive rate classification).
  • Rampage time: even if the dinosaur has the perfect paddock, with food, water and space... sometimes some carnivores can go mad and crazy, focusing in scaping to eat a specific visitor or destroy a building / car / attraction. they need to me sedated. same mecanic ok JPOG.
  • Smart dinosaurs can open gates + cause a loss of fence energy: Indominus rex, indoraptor, raptors (atrocis, velocis, troodon, pyro and others) will be able to study theyr paddock and attack weak fences ( causing aletricity failure and climbing the fence) or open gates to get loose in the park.
