[ALLIANCE] Alliance Rapid-Reaction Corps are recruiting.

Hello Commanders.
It is with sadness that I have to announce that The Code have begun threatening and murdering commanders is Arque.
This along with an ongoing program of Piracy and harrasment has meant that we at the ARRC are now in direct conflict with them.

To the CODE
The ARRC regard Arque as a system under Alliance control and one in which we have a vested interest.
Accordingly we, and our allies, will attack on sight any wanted CODE ships we find in Arque.

Or this?

Well, I guess you got that one (traffic is pretty much nothing so no surprises, but what even are the Bhutas Hunters doing as an Empire Player Group up north here?

Also I'd forgotten what a horrible neckbeard Mickey Bonner is.

I wish INARA would update right on the click.
Oh well, back to HQ to do some BH for WT406.

Hi there DNA-Decay.
Yes we're aware of the Bhutas hunters and have a mutual agreement with them as we're such close neighbours.
They've been in their systems for a while now and, like us, have recently re-activated their PMF.

As for Bruthanvan. The Tionisla Historical Society are being expanded from there to Tionisla. This is a planned move. We are minded to let them remain in control of Bruthanvan for the time being since they are more friendly for Ediie Mahon's Fort Trigger.
We can retake the system any time we choose as the THS are only in there to facilitate their move to Tionisla and relinquishing the system back to us is a part of that agreement.

In return for them remaining in Bruthanvan we expect to have assistance to take control of Arque.

If I am of a differing power play allegience, how will that affect my status as a member of the wing? I've read that you do powerplay for the Alliance, but does this also mean that you don't want a CMDR who choose to do power play for another faction (outside of just unlocking modules)? I have not yet started with "proper" powerplay, but I'm intrigued by the concept.

Being a Cooperative to us means being open to other's walks of life, with no regard to political, religious, sexual, or Superpower confessions.
As long as you don't enjoy yourself killing the innocent, or try to flip our little realm to your chosen Guru, you will be welcome in our ranks.

In situations where there are opposing interests however, you will be expected to at least not work against the Alliance.

Thank you for the reply, I appreciate it. I think it depends on your definition of "innocent" - Is pirating considered of limits for your crew? Is attacking a hostile PP ship who are clean considered innocent?

This might get difficult. We respect honourable piracy but cannot tolerate killing players. And clearly we won't allow a CMDR flying under ARRC flag while killing Alliance or our neighbour's ships because they are "hostile" to them. The bubble is densely populated and we highly value good relations with neighbouring player groups.

You would have to assure us that you are aware of such restraints, and ok with them.

The Alliance Rapid-Reaction Corps Welcomes Commander LifesAJourney back from the black

We'd also like to thank Cmdr LifesAJourney for donating a HUGE amount of data to some of our systems.
Commander LifesAJourney was escorted by some of our patrol pilots at the beginning of his long exploration trip. Handing over the data for our benefit is his way of thanking us.
No need Commander, but we are grateful nontheless.

Thank you!

Calling all Console Players

The Alliance Rapid-Reaction Corps Needs You.

logo256.png
Hi there XBox & PS4 Commanders.
I'd like to introduce you to the Alliance Rapid-reaction Corps. (ARRC for short)

We are a possibly one of the biggest, small Player Minor Factions. We are a well established group with a presence in over 30 of the "Old Worlds"
Our base of operations is in our home system of Zaonce, Ridley Scott station.
The home of the Zaonce Fleet and the Bank of Zaonce.
Our systems include Arque, the new home of Professor Palin and Tionisla, where the famous Ships Graveyard is reputed to bear permanent monument to many a brave pilot.
We really don't mind who you are or where you come from. If you want to be our friends and allies then you will be.
Better still. Why not join us?

A lot of us were here in '84 and as far as game play goes we moslty bimble about engaging in pretty much whatever come to mind.

Our activities include PVE exploration
PvP in Arque protecting commanders looking for Prof. Palin against gank squads.
PvP in a training group called "Fighter Club" (See my signature. No membership required)
Thargoid hunting in the Pleiades
Racing SLFs, SRVs and other vehicles in odd and remote locations
Driving SRVs into space stations...

Well you get the idea. Pretty much anything that's fun.
Join our forum thread and lend us your ideas.

Background Simulation or Powerplay?
Yes we also involve ourselves in the Background Simulation and Powerplay aspects of the game. Flipping systems for the Alliance, fighting to keep or control systems etc.

You pretty much couldn't find a more friendly bunch of commanders with an eye for fun and a taste for adventure always on the lookout for new and exciting things to try.

Come along and give us a go. Join our Discord channel or the Fighter Club thread, or you could apply on INARA where you will find our Faction page.

Time zone is GMT UK but we are to be found online pretty much any time.
We are actively seeking Console players, and players in the US to boost our PS4 and Xbox divisions.

A week to remember.
Last week the Alliance and the Federation had a little misunderstanding over an "Old Worlds" system called Leesti.
I t was, shall we say, an interesting week.

I am pleased to announce that hostilities over the Leesti affair have ceased!
Negotiations between the main parties in this conflict over the weekend have proved successful and a new agreement has been reached.

The ARRC, whilst not being the instigators of this conflict, has been a major player, in the centre of this affair and I can say with great pride that our pilots conducted themselves with honor, integrity, and bravery during the entire struggle.
May we never need to be so tested again!

Dear Cmdrs (especially Cmdrs who are looking for a good squadron to join)!

Let me warn you of joining the ARRC.

I was a happy explorer for almost three years. Was peacefully and quietly (mostly harmless all that time!) travelling across the galaxy. I was in contact with ARRC during my exploration time. They escorted me on my way back to the Bubble with a year-worth bunch of data onboard, after an NPC with a herd of hungry children scared the ... out of me. They seemed to be nice guys, so we talked from time to time about what's going on in the Bubble and in the part of the Galaxy I was currently in.

A couple of months ago, I got enough. I wanted to do a long break from ED. There are, after all, so many other things to do, other games to play. My plan was to wait for the Odyssey DLC and see if exploration becomes more challenging and intriguing.

But then I made a mistake. Tempted by a great atmosphere among ARRC Cmdrs, their friendliness and willingness to help, I thought I'd give it a try. Officially joined the squadron and started to learn what interesting a Cmdr can do in the Bubble. And guess what? I play more often than ever before. I try different ship loadouts. I experiment with my steering configuration to have more capability during fights, buy and sell joysticks and stuff. I've met more engineers during last several weeks than I had met for the last three years. I learn the whole lot of things during each ingame session. I learn also how much there is still to learn, how little I know now. Just after a few weeks after I joined one of the biggest conflict was at the very edge of exploding (see the post above) and I was there, I saw it developed, I saw more non-NPC vessels in my instance than ever before, I was constantly checking squadron names trying to figure out "friend or foe".

I'm having the greatest fun I've ever had in this game. ARRC's positivity, knowledge, experience and willigness to share all of it with me and other newbies only makes my ED-time even more fun and satisfying. There is always someone to talk to, to wing up with, to share a good wing mission, to tweak my skills or loadout details.

So, if you have a "pile of shame" of games you've always wanted to play, do not join ARRC.
If you don't want to learn new things about the astonishing ingame Galaxy, do not join ARRC.
If you prefer to read books, watch movies or do other RL activities during your leisure time, do not join ARRC.

Otherwise... Well... Why don't you try...? :)

After a long year and 9 months The ARRC are elated to announce that the Tionisla Historical Society have finally been relocated to Tionisla.
It has been a troubled journey with many setbacks and delays. There have been times when it was beginning to seem an impossible task but we at the ARRC keep our promises regardless of the cost in time and effort.

The Alliance Rapid Reaction Corps formally welcomes the THS to Tionisla

I've been proud to have been involved in this task that has taken us 21 months to achieve. It has involved more diplomacy than it has firepower, and its desire to accomplish the goal with as little disruption to the involved systems is what has contributed to the timescale

Congratulations to everyone who has contributed, and especially to Scolio who has been our guiding light throughout the months

Breaking News
I have the amazing privilege to announce that, with the aid of a great number of Alliance and Independent forces, the Alliance Rapid Reaction Corps have taken stewardship of the important lore system of Leesti.
Today the system of Leesti finally handed over control of George Lucas station along with the constitutional stewardship of Leesti from the remaining rebel forces that were fighting a rearguard action on behalf of a defunct invasion force.
This action in no way reflects on the accord reached with the invading forces which are, and will remain on, amicable terms, but was rather the actions of a number of misguided fighters loyal to the federation.
We of the ARRC pledge to keep Leesti open and safe for all pilots, regardless of affiliation or fealty. Most of all we pledge to keep Leesti Alliance.
