I was reading an article on the BBC in which it outlined that when a person is alone for a long time the usual thing is they deteriorate mentally. It was much more than what I thought would happen.

Of course then I thought of Elite with one man ships often out in deep deep space for a long time and was not sure if there would be communication that far out.

Anyway interesting what happens to people when really alone for a long time

Just remember that when you come across a Rock Hermit in Elite, you're probably the first person they've met in quite some time, the last one? Well don't accept the stew..... ;)
