Amazing adventure of mine (a bit of RP incl.).

Guys!!!! I'm so excited I just have to share this with you!!!!! :p

Yesterday late night, my butt was so hurting already! Ehem. I've spend way to much time bumping on the rocks in my good, old, dusty SRV, so I was about to call it a day and finish my adventures for that night. As usual, before going sleep I was to park my beautiful red GUTAMAYA's pride, Imperial Clipper in safe, at a proper spaceport of a friendly minor faction, few light seconds away from me...

On my trip there I've suddenly found something that was recognized by my on-board computer as an salvageable wreckage, very close to the top orbital cruise attitude of the nearby stellar body. Since I love popping out of SC very close to the planets (I just can't get enough experiencing the beauty of our Milky Way!), I though I'll use this occasion to scout the spot with this amazing stellar body below me, as a lovely background for to cheer up my eyes just before sleep. What happened next was..., mind-blowing!!!!!!

As soon as I jumped out of SC something hit my hull pretty hard, making a lot of metallic noise! Something start to fly by me, hitting my hull with very, very high velocity. A lot of something! I remember I had a moment of panic. A brief seconds of the impression the sky is falling on me! When I impulsively relocated all the powers of my bloody red beauty's power plant to the shields of mine and prepared my hard-points for the worst, I have noticed a lot of derbies passing by. Scraps of metal were hitting my hull like the projectiles!!! When I cooled down a bit, I saw they're not that big thread to my hull, as my shields were fulfilling their role exceptionally well...

...all this lasted just a brief seconds. Then I noticed a blinking light approaching me very, very fast. And BOOOOOM!!!!!

...before I realized what just hit me I felt something very odd for a second. This sad feeling of something bad happened. Something that shouldn't have happened. Not like this... Not so quick...

Death! This cold feeling of someone next to you dying suddenly... With such an unnecessary, stupid death...

It took me totally by surprise... But I suddenly realized what have just happened. With my soaring eyes I took a brief glimpse at one of the panels of my cockpit. Yes. The contacts list confirmed the worst. I was right. I suddenly felt the coldness of the void just few meters away from my pilot' seat, the vast coldness separated from my only by the thick glass of my cockpit's windows... The glass wasn't thick enough by the time. I was cold. Sad and very cold. But I had to act!!! Quickly!!

Only like 10 seconds passed after I jumped out of Super Cruise. I knew the next few seconds will determine if I was the right person for to find myself at this very time, at this very spot, in this very star system, at the outer rims of a habited bubble...

Next steps were like a dream. My actions were faster than my brain was able to register. All my pilot's experience now was dramatically transformed into a pure adrenaline..., the fuel for my veins. For my heart. As it was bumping like crazy! I hit the throttle so hard I almost broke my wrist.

Shhhhhh....WOOOOOOOSHHHHH!!! My pilot' suit did its job, by transforming the insane centrifugal force's vectors that were to crush my human body to the different than kinetic energy, adding it's pools to the heat capacitor of my ship instead. Still the spaceship's boost kick was so sudden my neck hurt like crazy for a blink of an eye!! But I have managed to chase them...

Dozens of blinking, small lights, that passed my wings only few centimeters away just a brief moment ago, were just before my ship's nose again. Cruising through the void at extreme speeds..., falling... Falling!?

The gravity!!! All equation variables were matching to each other now!!! I was being pulled by the gravity of this beautiful looking, deadly stellar body below me... It was pulling me fast. Way to fast... As it was the dozens of occupied escape pods in front of me! As all the debris surrounding us. Scraps of bended, twisted and curved once shaped by the human hands metals, telling the story of a passenger ship that was unlucky destroyed only god knows how long time ago...

And now all those debris were being pulled by the gravity of a planet below. All that parts were to meet the surface of the unavoidable. Bringing the final doom to those lucky ones passengers that had enough of this luck for theirs ship' emergency systems managed to pack their fragile bodies to a metal can. Putting their veins at stand-by, awaiting for the hand of god to finish what was started by the blow in the void, somewhere far away from here. Carried for weeks, months or years maybe by the same force vectors they have interacted with so long ago. Their last journey was about to end. Their luck to dry up. At the very surface of this very planet below us. The planet was to host them and all the force vectors inherited from the blowing space ship. Far, far away from here, so long time ago...

My hull was making lauder and lauder noises... The gravity forces were irrevocable inviting me, my ship and the survivors to meet with it's deadly surface. I hit the boost again. The heat was rising. I had the impression I was sweating. Again it wasn't true, as my pilot' suit was performing exceptionally well. It's just my brain did the calculation... As my on-board computer just after. I had few more seconds left to interdict those weak flames of life! Before the unstoppable forces of the galaxy will make their final mind on their fate... Swallowing it, as maybe mine as well. By the way. For those forces are never full. Always eager for more and more sacrifices... Swallowing life since millennials now. So rarely giving life in exchange.

The odds were already against me. As they were against all that beings locked in the escape pods before me. Falling at extreme speeds to the unavoidable...

I matched the speeds and all the vectors of mine and theirs. For this glimpse of an eye our journey was one. I pressed the cargo hatch button. The laud alarm went off. My ship didn't like that. My neck hurt again. 180 km left to the planet' surface. All of us were falling freely. Never in my life I have performed such a maneuvers. On the edge of life and death. Mine and mine's journey companions. The journey to the sudden death.

Will I succeed? Will I save those people from their unavoidable destiny that started somewhere far away from here?

I closed my eyes for a quarter of second to concentrate. To compensate all those insane force vectors working on my hull now, the more randomly the stronger the gravity pull was. Trusting I will enslave my thrusters enough for it to do exactly what I need now. With the insane accuracy of a helpless dead man. 150 km abve the planet' surface and still falling fast. Really fast...

...too fast.

What do you think friends? Have I succeed? There were about 20 occupied escape pods there. Eager to meet planet' surface. More than I was! ;)

P.S. This post was originally here, but after publishing it I thought this is better place on the forums to put it, though have no idea if I can move it in here (nor if I'm able to, without mod's help)...
