AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0 Launches on 12th May

From what I have read, the three day implementation relates to games that already have DLSS implemented.
If I'm not wrong, FSR 2.0 uses something similar to DLSS just without the AI.
If so, I hope Frontier will add them both in the future. Knowing Nvidia they're probably working on something new for DLSS that could improve framerates further to try keep ahead of the competition.

Both solutions rely on some form of temporal frame calculations. This means, if the renderer already has some form of it (temporal AA) implemented, adding DLSS or FRS 2.0 is not a big deal. As far as we can see, ED has no option for TAA, which probably lowers the chances that some form of temporal rendering will make it into the game.
Edit: This came unexpected: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/rtx-and-dsll-on-jwe2-and-to-ed-any-news.604613/unread
Maybe there is a chance for ED to get DLSS and maybe even DLAA (which would be excellent) after all.

i mind:
FSR1 == nvidia image scaling
FSR1 in game ED.
NIS in drivers nvidia.
FSR2 == DLSS.
DLSS in game and RTX only.
FSR2 in ED ? Hardware for FSR2 ?
