AMD Fury X + Vive Issues

Hi everyone,

Have some frame rate issues here... Whenever I go to extraction sites, the entire game starts jittering like crazy, and I keep missing frames like clockwork. I have my settings set to everything at the absolute lowest (AA off, shadows off, AO off, etc, everything on low), except HMD quality on 1.0 and SS on 1.0. My render target multiplier is 1.2. I can play with a render target multiplier of 1.0 no problem, but I started trying to tweak my settings for clear-er text. I can deal with low quality textures and a lack of shadows, but getting headaches from eyestrain because text is barely readable isn't very fun... Should it really be this laggy around asteroids with a Fury X?!? Asyn reprojection is set to be allowed, but on the left side of SteamVR settings it always just says 'Async Reprojection Off' no matter what I do.

I'm opted into the SteamVR beta, and my computer specs are as follows:

Intel i7-6700K, set to always stay at 4GHz
16 GB DDR4, 3000MHz, 15-15-15-35
AMD Fury X, set fan profile to be more aggressive, clocks left at stock, max power +50%, driver version 17.1.2
ED:H installed on Samsung 850 PRO 512 GB

Async Reprojection is currently not supported by AMD. So check that Interleaved Reprojection is on (CTRL+F in the ED-Window, should jump between or stuck at 45 or 90FPS) If you still experience hard framedrops, check the driver settings and turn off VSR (Virtual Super Resolution) in the Radeon-Settings. That put me back to a smooth experience - not sure if driver or windows-update caused but somehow since two weeks enabling this seems that also the Vive tries to render in 4K which is absolutly unplayable, turned it off and everything was fine. Playing now with VR High and had no jitter up to now (wasn't at extraction sites yet, but also on planets everything works smooth)

BTW my setup:
R9 Nano, stock settings
FX-3850, stock settings
32GB RAM
250GB SSD
Windows 10

Awesome!! I still can't get 90 FPS in RESs with my settings, but even locked at 45 FPS with Interleaved Reprojection on feels fluid (occasional slight jutter, but nothing like before). Thanks much. :)
